This coffee maker delivers what was most important to me, a great cup of HOT coffee. The bonus is that it is an attractive unit on the counter. The front access for water & grounds is a terrific idea. Handy & easy to use. No lifting the top of the unit so the storage cup warming plate on top is a thoughtful design. Carafe doesn’t drip when poured either. The only criticism I might voice is setting up the clock or auto timer. A forward/back button would make setting easier. At least by holding the setting button down, the time fast forwards.

Good front load features. However Brew time for 6 cups takes about 15 minutes, and the coffee maker is much larger and bulky than I expected.

This is one stunning looking coffee maker but for me the test was going to be the taste. Woke up this morning with pure excitement to have my first cup of coffee. Puchased the DCF2212T a few months ago after having it’s predecessor and found not much has changed. The clock is the WORST part of it, not as simple as changing the hour then minutes. You have to hold the clock button and scroll through 24 hours (or whatever). The pot design is nicer than the previous models, less splash proof when filling. Don’t break the pot though, an exact replacement will cost you $30 which I refuse to pay. All-in-all nice product!!

My only complaint is with the clock and timer settings. There’s only one button for changing the time, i.e., no separate button for minute and hour. Which means you have to hold the button down to scroll through until you reach the time you want. Kind of annoying, but overall a great little machine.

I’ve owned one of these for 6 years and it has been the very best coffee maker I’ve ever had. the aroma button allows slow-brewing which takes advantage of the coffee robust flavoring. Just recently, the plastic developed a small crack that water leaks out of. But, TRULY, I got my money’s worth on this one! I’ve buy the same pot , again!
