From opening the box to setting uo the machine and brewing your first espresso it is simple and easy to do. The machine is inexpensive but worth every dollar you spend on it. I much prefer making mine at home in this as opposed to going out for an expensive one

This DeLonghi EC155M 15 Bar Espresso and Cappuccino machine is great for a novice such as myself. I don’t drink a lot of espresso but do love a good cappuccino more often than not. ProsHeats up very quickly allowing me to satisfy the craving quickly Produces a very good cup of coffee, once you learn to use the tamper correctly (not too loose, not to tight)Easy to follow directions and recipes included.Easy clean up after use, I wipe it down after each use and run it with just plain water weekly. Lightweight allowing for it to be put away with ease when not in use. I do not like small appliances to just sit out on the countertops so I enjoy the ability to put this away when we are done using it and it is out of sight until we need it again. ConsVery short, not compatible with the majority of a typical coffee cup. Being the first machine we have owned, we only have standard coffee cups and as such have a difficult time fitting the cup under the press. Drip tray can be removed allowing for a little extra space but the cup needs to be tilted in such a way to get it under the spout that it can and does spill a bit from time to time. Steamer wand is both convenient and inconvenient in its placement. It is attached to the upper left which is great and can be rotated out of the way but it IS in the way. The steamer works quite well in my opinion but does take a lot of practice, the first time I used it I allowed too much pressure out and milk splattered everywhere (hahaha). If you are new to this as I am practice with water maybe, to avoid some of the mess.

I really love the Espresso maker. I used to to make a my favorite drink a vanilla latte and it was so good. It is very easy to set up and learn to use. It comes with a tamper for packing down the coffee grinds and frother. You can make one shot or two. I am really impressed with how it taste just like I went to a high end coffee shop. It is the perfect size and a really good quality machine. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great espresso maker.

A few pros and a few cons. Pros: it seems to be good quality and makes a nice cup. I like the control on the steamer so that I can control it. It’s a nice machine. Cons: the lever opens out to the left which hits the steamer. It should open out the other way. The steamer is kind of short. It’s hard to get a small cup to the steamer.

This is our very first espresso/cappuccino machine. I was not sure what to expect but , I learned I really like it. It is so easy to use and clean. The directions walk you through it step by step. It does not take long at all to come up to temperature. It is a little louder than I was expecting. The espresso that it made was perfect. When I first got this DeLonghi I didn’t know if it would be complicated to use or not. After setting it up in my kitchen I found out its not bad to use. It makes 2 expressos or cappacinos. I clean it out every so often with vinegar. It takes pods or fine coffee grounds.
