I love this espresso and cappuccino machine. It’s super easy to use . The instructions are helpful . It’s easy to clean . I usually drink 3 cups a day and this makes it so much better. I’m more of a cold coffee person and all you have to do is mix this in with milk. You can use it with cold or hot. I usually buy whole bean and grind it up then use it for the espresso part.

I’m not usually a coffee drinker. But I recently got a new job that has me working at 4am so I need a pick me up to get me going. I figured I would give espresso and cappuccino a try so I looked for an affordable machine that had all the bells and whistles I needed. This one is easy to put together, super easy to use, comes with all the parts and accessories you need to use it for pods or loose grounds. Its small enough to fit under my kitchen cabinet so I don’t have to constantly pull it out to use every day. I have not gotten super fancy with the frothing part yet, but this seems to be a great starter machine. I cant wait to see what else it can do.

If you love a good espresso and are unsure of where to start for a home machine- get this! This machine is so easy to use. Very compact and easy to clean. This works well with your own ground espresso or little paper pods . I love the steamer for frothing milk. The hot water option can be used if you want tea as well! I am a longtime fan of the DeLonghi coffee machines and this is one of the simplest- easy to use- quality machines I have found.

I love this DeLonghi EC155M 15 Bar Espresso and Cappuccino Machine it does it all. I am not a huge fan of coffee however my boyfriend is. I love the cappuccino so this is perfect for us. It is very simple to use and it clean up. I wipe mine down after using it. I think that is probably easier than letting it sit especially the cappuccino.

For advanced home espresso brewers and beginners alike this machine is an absolute asset. Out of the box it’s easy to piece together what goes where because most of it is already where it belongs. The filter handle (where you put the coffee, I’m sure this thing has an official name but I’m just going to call it the filter handle) is actually inside the back of the machine where the water goes (the water reservoir is removeable!). Make sure you look here as initially I thought I had not recieved such a vital part of the machine.All in all, operating the machine is pretty simple. Choose a filter, one is for single, one is for double – there’s even a spot under the lid to store the filter you aren’t using, a feature I was impressed with. Less things to sit around on my counter in an effort to not lose them. Fill it with finely ground espresso beans, use the tamper that is attached to the machine to press it in firmly and dust of any excess. Return the filter handle to the machine and follow included instructions on how to heat, brew, steam and froth!Here are my highlighted pros and cons, listed simply:PROS- Storage for the extra filter.- An included coffee scoop.- Attached tamper (A++ on the inclusion of this as I used to try to do this with the back of a spoon and it just didn’t work as well)- Knobs for steamer and brewer are separate!- Included, incorporated, steamer/frother. While simple, very useful.CONS- I was unaware the machine just keeps going, this might have been user error but something to note you have to turn it off or you’ll have an espresso overflow!- There’s no dial that says you’re brewing one or two cups so if you’re brewing just one make sure you have the cup under both spouts because it comes out of both no matter what you’re making.- Itty bitty cups are a necessity. Yes, I know espresso cups are supposed to be small but sometimes you wanna brew something small in a bigger cup out of convinence. With this machine that’s not really possible.All in all, the pros definitely outweigh the cons as most of those are user preference. If you want a good espresso / cappuccino machine this is definitely worth considering. I’m certainly glad I have one.

I’m not sure if it’s my inexperience with a machine like this, but I had problems with it. I used ground coffee packed it in like the directions said but still turned out weak. I’m gonna try the pods and see if those work better. The milk frothing nozzle seems short no matter what cup i used. I had difficulty figuring out how to use it with my cups. To begin with the directions said it would vibrate for a couple minutes but for 5 mins it didnt do anything but emit a horrible noise. Then it started working but the picture on the directions looked like water sprays over the grounds but was just a slow drip. I’d like to add a video of the sound it made but I can only upload pictures.

I am very satisfied with this product. It’s easy to use and both the espresso and the frother work well. The espresso is part manual so you have to turn it off on your own, it’s not on a timer. It does leak a tiny bit sometimes but it isn’t much. Overall I’m happy with the value.

I was so excited to get this Cappuccino and Espresso Machine. I spend way to much money buying these. You need a small cup to fit under the spouts, a regular cup does not work. that was the only down side. I finally got the hang of making the espresso and using the frothing wand. It is very easy to follow the direction to use. I also found that it is super easy to clean. The size is compact so it fits well on the kitchen counter. This is a very good machine. I love saving the money instead of buying my coffee.

So let me start out by saying that I have never had a cappuccino/espresso machine so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. Some of the terms like tamper and crema were foreign to me but the instructions explained everything well enough so I could figure out the machine and use it like a pro. Firstly, if you’ve never had an espresso machine be sure to read the instructions and do exactly as they say. You have to set the machine up before you use it. Once it is setup then you can start making delicious espressos. The design and durability of the machine are pretty great. Once you figure it out it is super easy to use. The biggest design flaw I’ve encountered is the milk frother. It’s a great milk frother/steamer but I don’t like the spring that’s in it. I wish I could move it off to the side and have it stay there instead of moving back to its original position. The tamper is pretty decent as well. It’s not moveable so sometimes getting into the perfect position to tamp the espresso can be tricky. But even that isn’t too bad most of the time. Finally, where you place the cup is very short. You definitely need the small espresso cups to use with this machine. The metal grate and the plastic piece holding the metal grate can be removed to give you a bit more room but it doesn’t add much. I have a small cup that I make it in then I transfer it to a mug. It’s only a minor inconvenience though. The machine comes with 2 different size baskets so you can make a single or double shot of espresso. I’ve solely used the double and boy does it give you that nice burst of caffeine. The espressos that I’ve made using this espresso machine have been nothing short of amazing. It takes about 5 minutes to make a cup, beginning with heating your water to frothing your milk. The instruction booklet also gives you different recipes so you can switch up your morning cup of joe. The recipe is broken down in steps so it’s super easy to make. It can also use the espresso pods if you didn’t want to deal with espresso grounds everywhere. I haven’t used these but they are an option for someone who prefers that. Cleanup is also a breeze. Once you’re finished, wipe the frother and the area where the water comes out. It’s definitely easier to clean up the grounds while they are still wet as opposed to when they are dry. The handle the espresso basket sits in has a little clip so you can empty the basket after you’re finished. It doesn’t lock the basket in place so be sure to hold it or it may fall in the trash. Lol. Overall, once you get past the learning curve this machine is amazing. It’s easy to learn and everything you need is written out in plain English so anyone can understand. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an espresso/cappuccino machine. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
