I’m never going back to another coffee shop, to my 8 cup machine or to my pod machine. This espresso/cappuccino/miracle maker is incredible!!! Now let me start off with how daunting this machine looks when you first take it out. It is intimidating. Don’t let that fool you though. It’s super easy and really fun. Took probably 5 min for setup after reading the instructions. It’s already preset up with the average coffee ground setting people prefer, I adjusted it slightly stronger to my liking which was super easy to do. So easy to make espresso shots, and cappuccino/lattes! The step by step instructions are really easy to follow and made me a barista in no time. I’ve made multiple drinks a day, and have impressed my husband, family and friends. The milk steamer is really easy to use and clean as well. I’ve also appreciated that the machine cleans itself when it starts up and gets shut down. So make sure you have glasses under the spouts to catch the water. I also recommend running the water through the milk steamer as well to make sure you don’t have any milk trapped up. This machine also has a eco mode which helps save energy, which is very innovative for a coffee maker. It’s extremely easy to turn eco on and off. The small design takes up the same amount of space as a pod machine and is perfect for a novice or beginner. I’ve already run out and bought mocha and caramel syrup so I can try more drinks. Overall I’m so extremely happy with this machine. Every coffee lover needs this ! Also want to add I’ve saved over $50 from visiting coffee shops!!!

My girls go to the specialty coffee shops ALL the time. Hopefully with this machine, they will stop. This thing makes an AMAZING Espresso, Cappuccino, and coffee! As I was taking it out of the box, I was like there is no way I am gonna be able to figure this out. My daughter was like, we will figure it out together. 20 minutes later we are all enjoying a cup of Mmmmm. Don’t be intimidated by the looks of it. It is really easy to use. Now my only problem is, my daughter taking it away to her apartment at her college.

Wow. I am so impressed with this machine, first off it was incredibly easy to figure out how to use… it’s a great size, not too big not too small.. looks very luxurious on my counter. The machine itself has SO many things to it I definitely don’t have to get coffee from the local coffee shops anymore. It’s not too loud, it gives a wonderful aroma when brewing also, I’m highly impressed with the grinder, I feel like it does a perfect job getting all the beans and not leaving any loose or stuck- the milk frother works really well also. I love the DeLonghi Magifica XS Automatic Espresso machine. It’s so fun being able to make my own cappuccino or latte in the mornings now. When you first take it out of the box, the instructions are intimidating at first. There’s a lot of instructions. But, i followed them step by step and had the machine up and running in 10 minutes. It may have looked intimidating but the setup instructions are well written out and easy to follow. I love being able to use whole bean coffee in this machine. Space wise it fits well in our small kitchen. It only takes up as much space as our Keurig coffee pot did. So not too bulky at all. It is really easy to use and makes a great cup of espresso with just the push of a button. It doesn’t take very long to heat up at all when it’s in the off position and I love that it cleans itself and is very easy to maintain. Hoping to be using this Automatic Espresso machine for a long time to come. It makes just as good of a cup of coffee as the coffee shop does in my opinion. Great machine!

If I could image the perfect cappuccino/ espresso machine, this would be it. It was so easy to set up from delivery to my counter top with the help of two instruction manuals, a DVD and a 800 number just in case you need extra help. I got the XS size which fit perfectly on my counter not taking up a lot of space. It is self cleaning and scaling so the machine stays it top performing order for every cup it makes. From the strength of the coffee to the temperature of the water; everything can be customized to my taste. I make myself piping hot cappuccinos and espressos. My boyfriend likes to make machinates just the way he likes them. This is a wonderful product that any coffee lover must own.

I love this Delonghi Coffee Machine and the easy to use functions. It took me awhile to read the directions, but I learn the use on how to work the buttons, but after a couple a days it was easy to follow. I never had cappuccino before and was so excited to try it. I used spring water because I cannot stand the taste of filtered water. My husband and I made 2 cups of cappuccino in the morning. I added a little bit of cinnamon, and wow it taste delicious! It’s so easy to use. Love! Love! Love! this machine! So happy that I am able to make and finally enjoy cappuccino in my home. I received this product for free in exchange for review.

I really wanted to use this in my normal morning espresso routine for a while before completing my final review. I got this delivered to my house and the packaging really kept it safe from damage. You will find the machine itself which is fully assembled already. It also has a scoop for measuring preground coffee. A brush for cleaning out smaller pieces of the machine when needed. It also comes with a detailed manual as well as a dvd for learning all about how to use it for the first time. The first time we used it afternoon watching the dvd it really took no time at all to figure it out. Just add your espresso beans of choice and this amazing machine will do the rest of the work at the push of a button. It used to take about 20 minutes to grind the beans manually each day, this machine has the grinding built in. Also no more hassle tamping and putting in ground beans. It is all automatic with the same taste and less mess than a manual espresso machine. The default settings seem to work perfectly for my needs but it also can have different settings depending on your taste. It’s perfect for making two drinks at once which is a huge time saver as well. The milk steamer is also easy to use and makes a great latte. This machine is definitely a big investment but I love that the company states in their paperwork if you have an issue with it you can call anytime for personal help. Overall I’ve been very very happy with this machine. It also has a sleek look and even though it is fairly large it is not much larger in width then you’re average coffee machine. It also self cleans after every use to make sure old espresso doesn’t build up inside. The best part is that I get twenty more minutes of sleep in the morning because making an amazing custom drink takes under a minute with this versus 20 with my older manual machine!!!

Right out of the box, this machine was intimidating. There were three different paper manuals for it, as well as a CD manual. However, getting past the overwhelming amount of information thrown at me, the machine itself is easy to use, and actually user friendly. The milk steamer works wonderfully, and the speed at which the machine grinds the coffee and the pours a great shot of espresso is excellent. It doesn’t take up too much counter space, either. I really like that I can customize everything I want into the machine, from how hot the coffee is to the size of the pour, to the correct setting for my particular area’s water hardness. Best coffee machine I’ve ever owned.

I purchased the Delonghi Magnifica XS ECAM22110SB April 2013. It retails for $900, but I paid $686 on sale. Prior I had a Breville Barista Express, and although having fun at first, it became more of a labor of love for me to operate. I enjoy mostly lattes and caps, while my wife likes strait coffee. For the price, this machine is GREAT. Yes, it’s wrapped in plastic and you cannot “dial in” a precise shot like with a manual machine, but for us, it fits the bill. A descent priced super auto 🙂
