This machine makes great coffee and good espresso. It is quick and easy to make. Unpacking and setup took about 30 minutes. Very little difficulty setting it up or making my first cup of coffee. The frother works pretty well. Not as foamy as I would like, but I may still need some work. The instructions were a bit confusing on how some of the functions worked, for example, adjusting the temperature. The largest cup size is still pretty small for my normal morning coffee, but I just hit 2 cups, and fill up the larger cup. It is pretty large, so it takes a good amount of counter space. The only complaint is that water comes out when turning it on and turning it off. I assume that is for cleaning purposes, but I have to have an extra cup on hand to catch the mess. Otherwise, I am extremely pleased. I recommend getting a medium roast coffee or researching coffee beans with lower oil content.

This machine is amazing if you love a nice cup of coffee like I do. It takes a few tries to get the right cup of coffee. So don’t hesitate to try a few cups before you settle for your favorite combination of settings. I loved the feature that you can grind the beans directly in the machine. So, every time you get a fresh cup of coffee without loosing the flavor. I’m surprised that how quickly it grinds and brews the coffee and gives you a perfect espresso. Steaming of milk takes little longer as compared to brewing the coffee. But, overall amount of time it takes to give you a perfect cup of coffee is quicker than a french press or any other coffee machine. it is compact and all the openings in front makes it take less space on your counter top. I so loved it. Life is too short to compromise on a cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

Okay, let me start off by saying as much as I love coffee, I have never operated an espresso machine before in my life! I was both excited and intimidated to receive such a product. Surprisingly though, the DeLonghi Magnifica Espresso & Cappuccino Machine is extremely easy to use. It is an automatic machine that does most of the work for you. It’s a bean to cup machine, which means a built in grinder. You can can also use ground coffee and bypass the grinder. It doesn’t include a milk frothing pitcher, but those are easily found or like myself, just use a glass measuring cup. I’m really enjoying learning how to make cappuccinos and lattes along with other coffee drinks. Who needs a barista when you have this beauty sitting on your counter? Maintenance is easy as well, it gives you reminders (via lights) to empty grounds, refill water, etc. All in all, a great espresso machine. The DeLonghi Magnifica is an easy to use automatic machine that produces an excellent cup of of coffee. Having the multiple different settings allows me to have a nice medium cup or a stronger espresso flavor, and lots of range between. The settings are clear and easy to function. The steam wand makes a frothy cappuccino or latte. The size is great for leaving room available on your counter, cups fit under the wand well and I had no issues with spilling; I like a big cup. The best part is the grinder, because you get fresh brewed taste out of your whole beans. The beans grind fully and the machine is not noisy.I love having the convience right in my home, like having a barista in my kitchen.

To preface, I have no real experience making any sort of coffee drinks. This espresso machine was really simple to set up right out of the box. I had a little trouble getting the settings correct, so my first couple drinks were massively strong but I did figure out my perfect mix. It is fairly loud, so you can’t sneak any super early morning espresso without waking someone up lol. All in all it’s a decent machine, but I’ll still get coffee out every now and then.

I have to say I was a little intimidated by this coffee machine at first but I was sick of buying over priced coffee from town and my drip Brewer just wasn’t cutting it. This coffee machine has made my home coffee bar so much better! It does take a little time to master and you actually have to read the instructions but once you get your settings dialed in you can make the perfect cup of coffee. The milk is very easy to steam too! I love that this coffee maker came with a hard water tester and descaler to clean the coffee maker with. It showed me the company cares about you getting a great cup of coffee from it’s product!

Can u say wow this machine can doJust about anything you want it to from how much coffee u want in your cup to how strong you want it or how hot you want your coffee it’s just beyond cool! It can take ground coffee or whole Bean coffee my favorite is the whole bean, I love making the cappuccino with it I use creamer instead of milk, definitely read on the manual before messing with it for the first time, I also found some videos on YouTube that really helped too, the only thing that confused me the most was it kept saying toSwitch it on and off and to make sure it’s in the I position .. the I is the on off button and you push it in for on and off and even in the video it shows a woman using a switch type on the back for on and off overall this product is absolutely amazing and makes great coffee your family and friends will definitely be impressed

In comparison to my previous Delonghi this one is average. The coffee isn’t hot (I adjusted it to the max), it’s very noisy when operating, and the water tank is clumsy. The bean grinder is improved and doesn’t require assistant with a tool (as my previous espresso maker did) to get the beans into the grinder.

This coffee maker has been a life-changer for me. Seriously. This was my first experience drinking coffee made with freshly ground coffee beans, and I will never go back to using pre-ground coffee. (This machine has a built in grinder!) If you choose to use ground coffee, you can add one scoop (included and stored in the machine) of ground coffee to make one cup of coffee. Emptying the used coffee grounds is an easy process, and there isn’t any packaging waste that you have with other single cup coffee makers. You can make a delicious cappuccino with this machine, steamed milk and all!! I am so happy to have this beautiful machine in my home.

I never knew i could make the perfect cup of cappuccino in my own home until i used this machine! i can make any size of espresso or cappuccino to fit my needs all in one machine in my home. One of the great perks that comes with this machine is that it has a built in frother to make the creamy milk for the topping of your cappuccino. Setting the machine up was pretty simple as adding water to the tank and flipping a switch in the back to turn it on. There is two different options you can choose from when deciding what kind of coffee you want. The first option is whole bean coffee beans which can be grinned up with 13 different grinding settings to fit your flavor needs! The second option is to add coffee that is already grinned up. The max per cup for already grinned coffee is one scoop. The scoop is included with the machine and stays under a tab where you place the grounded coffee. There is a setting knob that allows you to choose how full you would like to make your cup. The second knob allows you to pick which type of coffee you will be making like whole bean or grounded. The second knob also allows you to pick the darkness of your coffee. The buttons above the knob are power, one cup, two cup and the frother. Once you have one cup made you push the frother steam button at the top and place a cup under the steamer. The knob on the side with the frother has to be turned to heat up the water. Once it starts steaming turn it back to off and place the cup with milk under the steamer and turn the steamer back on and slowly move the cup up and down for creamy milk. Once it is at your preferred creaminess power it on top of you coffee and you have a perfect cup of cappuccino. The cleaning process is very simple and although the instructions seem like alot to remember its becomes very easy to use by the third time you use it. There are several spots with lights that indicate what you machine may need fixed if there is an error.
