Smooth operation. No nicksI do not recommend using the planer on short pieces of wood. Overall very nice. Priced well.

The planer worked very well. A lot of reviews for this mentioned problems with snipe. Check the feed ramps before you use it for the first time. I had to make adjustments. It worked great. No snipe. I haven’t had a chance to try the dust collection. One of the magnets was missing when I unpacked the box. I found it attached to the base of the planer. Nothing was damaged, but it would have been better had the magnets been taped in place during shipping.

What an awesome little planer! Seriously, for smaller jobs, including hardwoods, this machine is the perfect size for what I do, which is making wooden stave shells for drum kits, and a variety of other things. I use mostly recycled and reclaimed woods, so nothing is perfect that goes in, but it comes out looking like new woods. You will not be disappointed with this little jewel of a planer.

I think is a very good product

Performs as expected. I bought it for a supplement to a larger planer. I got it for the disposable knives…My old planer had resharpenable kniveswhich was more of a hassle and expensive to do and reset.

Does just what I hoped it would do. The blades nick easily! Make sure your work is clean.

Delta sticker fell off. Since it’s a discontinued model it may have been sitting in a warehouse for awhile. Works great! Didn’t need any adjustments. Pleased with performance and price.

Great planer for the price. I haven’t had a good chance to run it through the ringer, but I have 150 +/- bd ft of lumber to run plus more on the way. Yes, there was a little snipe for the first couple boards I ran through, but I have sacrificial wood to take care of that. Small enough to fit in my roll-around table and light enough to lift. Also like the dust port to attach to my shop vac. I look forward to using this more.

Great planer at a great price. Only thing I had to do was adjust the thickness accuracy, it was a little off from the factory. Other than that I’m very happy with it.
