I have shaved so much time off of my projects since getting the Delta Planer. I now have more time to spend with the family.

Easy to use and great value.

So far this has been working great. It is perfect for my hobby shop and is affordably priced. It has helped me produce better quality pieces and was more than worth it.

Performed as advertised.

Excellent piece of equipment, did an excellent job for the projects I was doing. Discharge chute plugged easily, might work better with shop vac, but I found it worked better with the chute removed.

The planer quickly got a knick in the blade then it would leave a line in the wood- which was sandable. Then, it trashed an expensive piece of hard wood- a large chunk came . It worked great up until that point. I will likely return for another that has 3 blades vs 2.

It does what it is supposed to. Price is reasonable. Setup was very easy. The only negative I have is that the thickness gauge could be a little more precise.

I have only used it once so far but worked great that one time.

Quality built machine that is an excellent value. Have run about 30 1×6 cattle fence planks through and the last was as smooth as the first. Buy with confidence.

I would recommend this tool for garage shops.First pass was perfect.May have been a micro sand, from where, I don’t know, mark, thereafter easily sandable.Very minor.I hear there are up grades with spiral blades

Great Christmas Gift!

Super smooth and precise surface planing. Infeed and Outfeed tables did need to be adjusted, but that was to be expected. Great product. Would compare this to some of the higher priced units…Love it!

This tool did exactly what I hoped it would. No problems.

Planer works great right out of the box. The dust collection is built for a shop-vac and is a little underwhelming. If you see chips flying out from underneath, it means the dust collection system is clogged somewhere. A 4-inch dust collector works much better if you have one, but you’ll need an adapter. Satisfied overall with the purchase. Quieter than my old 12 inch Delta Planer.

Worked according to my expectations…..

Have used it three times so far. Once to make my 3 inch black walnut mantle. It worked better than expected with no tear out. Interested to see how long the blades stay sharp. So far so good.

Does a good job!

It planes as smooth as a $2,000 planer only complaint is it it doesn’t have a dust bag system.

It was anticipated that the blade height and feed tables would need to be adjusted. They were dead on. In thicknessing 1.5 wide strips of poplar (1/32 cut) there was no visible snipe. After about 20 infeeds the slick back tape on the front of the platen began to wear at the front edge. This is a nuisance issue which will be rectified by removal, cleansing and waxing the platen surface. It is a nice little machine for a home wood shop.
