The Delta Universal Planer Stand is engineered to support up to 400 lbs. The foot lock easily unlocks for mobility around your shop or work site. This stand is readily usable with the 22-590 and TP305 planers.

Universal, almost. It did not have the mounting holes for the model for which it was suggested. Had to drill some holes and get some different bolts to make it work. PIA when you live in the country and have to go back to town to get the parts you need to finish the job. Otherwise it does the job.

Well made stand. Easy to assemble. There are a couple issues that I experienced. 1) The clearance from the floor to the bottom of the stand is very minimal. It is difficult to move over anything taller than a half inch. I purchased this so that I could move this stand/tool combo to the patio from the shed. I built a ramp but it still wouldn’t go up the ramp because the bottom of the stand is so close to the ground. 2) It is a must to have the locking caster under the stand as compared to outside of the frame. It is a tripping hazard to have it on the outside. It’s a serious accident waiting to happen. The problem then becomes being able to raise and lower the caster from under the bottom shelf. I solved this issue by purchasing a 3/8″ – 10″ long bolt along with washers and locking nuts. The picture shows my set up. This was an easy fix. So easy the manufacturing company should change the design. Other than those issues the stand is solid and should last years and years. I still recommend this stand even with “my” issues I experienced. The price is much better at Home Depot as compared to online retailers.
