I bought this stand for the Delta 8-inch grinder and it fit perfectly. It took about 20 minutes to assemble. The stand is stable when using the grinder. It can also be anchored to the floor if you want that. Height is adjustable and great for me (I am 6′-4″ tall). I use it on the highest height setting. The only downside is the little plastic end caps on the bottom tubes keep falling out. They are not that important.

The instructions were excellant but I had a problem mounting the grinder. I guess the unit was of a older model and had to go to a local hardware. store to obtain bolts which were a bit longer other than that everything mounted ok!

To be honest, I bought this Delta grinder stand to match my Delta variable speed grinder. They look really nice together. The stand itself is well made, not made in the USA as early Delta products once were but that goes for nearly all small tools these days. Assembly was easy and mounting my grinder on to it was too. Seems to be stable, and a nice looking combo with the Delta badging. I am 100% happy with it and recommend purchasing it for your Delta grinder.

It’s ok but too short by 8”, going to put 8×8 under it. The mounting bracket is too small for an 8” grinder so I have to make a bracket to make it work

The grinder stand was easy to assemble, however my Delta 6 inch variable speed grinder did not easily mount on it. In order for it to mount and have the feet touch something, I had to cut a square of MDF I had laying around. The only issue with this, is I had to buy longer bolts in order to secure the grinder to the stand.
