Excellent fit n finish. 90 square out of box. Slider flush mount to wall is excellent choice, no long rails!!! Fantastic shadow line eliminates guess work where blade meets cut line! Great machine work. All functions at front control speed transitions. Happy customer.

When I unpacked the saw I checked what I supposed to receive and realized that I was missing the torch wrench that you need to make adjustments. You could see that the blade wasn’t square It was off 4 1/2 degrees. I called Delta. I was told pack it back up or go buy one since it was a common wrench. Thankfully I had one of my own It took some doing ( I’m handicapped) but know it’s square and much improvement over my 30 year old Ryobi

After much research I purchased this saw to replace my 15 year old Delta miter saw. I have wanted a sliding miter saw for quite a while now for their increased crosscut capacity. I purchased this one due to it having the highest crosscut capacity of any 10 inch miter saw and it’s overall compactness. So far I have no complaints and do not anticipate any. The blade was slightly out of square out of the box but that was a simple matter and 5 minutes to adjust. The saw cuts smooth as butter and I have done several wide crosscuts up to 15 inches. The saw slides very smoothly.I like it so much better than my old miter saw which, by the way, is still running great after 15 years. I am very happy with this purchase.

This this is awesome. I wanted to use my miter mostly in a fixed location from my workbench. A normal slider doesnt work with the bars going back. I was going to use my Ryobi slider and make a pull out shelf but in the end I decided the new saw was a better choice. That left me with Bosch, Makita, and Delta. And boy was it a better choice. Smooth and precise. It is bigger than my Ryobi in width and height but it’s only about an 1/8 inch above my workbench height. With the 60 degree adjustment it doesn’t hang past the edge of my bench. I used a masterforce universal tool mount so I can still unclamp and use on a miter stand elsewhere. I am already looking at Delta tablesaws after how impressive the miter is.

Good saw but the only thing I found is has alittle play from side to side just gotta make sure you pull straight down when making a cut but overall very good saw

This is a outstanding Tool! Would recommend to anyone. Love the space saving room. It was accurate right out the box.

Pretty amazing 10” miter saw. All adjustments feel nice and solid. Pin detents for common angles. Articulating arms are the smoothest I’ve felt on a “sliding” style saw. The shadow light is super convenient for more precise cuts. Minor downside:Dust collection in general isn’t great. Also, if you end up using the dust bag, it hits the arms a little. I don’t think it effects performance, just an observation. For anyone wondering, this saw does not have soft-start or an instant blade brake. However, it does slow down much quicker than my old saw, only takes a couple seconds.

Been looking at this saw for a good while and finally decided on it when it was discounted. Has been nothing but amazing. Needs alittle alignment out of the box but is so smooth and quiet

The saw runs beautifully and the hinges are just as smooth as any other sliding saw. The depth of cut is as expected and the reach compared to my last Delta saw is nice. My cons are only small and really insignificant. I like the shadow blade line but I liked the aftermarket LASER i had on my old Delta saw better. When I swivel the base the knuckles scrap the wall. I just need to adjust my saw forward maybe i took zero clearance too literally. But overall pretty awesome.

Good Saw, Minor Issues. I’ve been using the saw for about a month and for the most part, it works great. There are just a couple of issues I noted when checking it out. When the miter is turned all the way to the right and t he bevel is all the way to the left, the articulating arm will hit the sliding part of the left fence removed. This is a pretty extreme cutting position so probably not much of a problem for most users. I built a bench for the saw so I could have 2 feet of extended support to both sides. The bench includes an extended fence too. The problem was that the sliding part of the saw fence would hit the fence on the bench. Being able to slide or remove the sliding parts is necessary for cutting bevels an using the extended cutting width capability. As a result, I needed to take the extra steps to make the support and fence part of the bench (both sides) removable but also be able to replace them accurately. If the sliding parts of the saw fence could have been removed without the need to slide them, this extra work would have been eliminated.Since part of the bench include a dust collection system, I didn’t need to hook up a vacuum to the saw. However the dust port on the saw ejects the sawdust upward so trapping this flow is a bit of a problem. I needed to deflect the sawdust to the rear into the dust hopper I built. What I did was to remove the plastic insert from the dust collection bag and put it on the port since it does angle to the rear. Not a real good solution. I’m thinking that a short piece of vacuum hose might work better. The articulating arms work really well and maintain accuracy. The 40 tooth blade is more of a construction blade and not well suited for furniture grade cuts. I will be replacing it with a quality 80 tooth blade. All in all, I like the saw despite it’s quirks.
