I bought the 12″ saw and right out of the box it was completely dialed in. No adjustment required. I’ve been a professional finish/rough carpenter for over 21 years. This is the most precise miter saw I’ve ever used. Its ease of use and additional features along with it’s precise cuts make it #1.

Great in tight place cuts good out of the box. Once it’s zero out great for cabinetry and finish work. But I keep this in the shop can’t tell you how tough it is moving job to job

Square right out of the box. Slide is very smooth. Home Depot had the best price by far on this saw. Only thing I did was change to a better blade.

I returned the makita direct drive ls1219 when it kept acting up. The Delta cruzer’s belt drive is much more responsive, more torquey, and the robotic arms are much smoother. Also the shadow cut line is much more accurate than the offset laser which seemed to jostle about. This is the best miter saw ive ever owned and i love it. I did have to re-paint my miter station because it was all makita teal/green. Love makita still but delta knows how to do miter and table saw’s

this saw is great in every way except for the dust collection. I’ve use alot of saws and this by far has the worst dust collection I’ve ever experienced, to the point I’m gonna return it. I’m eating dust every time I use this and it became rather irrating. even hooking this up to a dust collector didn’t help.

Delivered on time. Set up was easy. Did not have to adjust anything. Smooth operation. Did replace the 60 tooth blade with an 80. Love the saw. Highly recommend this his saw even though it’s a little more expensive. Can be mounted right against the wall.

Plenty of power and nice build quality. The use of the led light for a guide is better than I thought it would be. The shadow of the kerf is projected right onto the work piece so you can cut to your line on the left side or the right. The blade is not great. Dust collection is not great.

I thought I ordered the 2 generation of this saw but I ended up purchasing the first gen. I have to tell you this saw is awesome!! Great build quality and everything was aligned right outside the box.I would recommend this for everyone.

Very nice saw. Shadow light works great. Arms slide in and out easily and smoothly. I find 2 small gripes. When you initially pull the handle down it has a slight hitch at the start then it comes down smooth after that. Looking at it the issue seems to be the rod connected to the safety shield. When you pull the shield up with your hand just a tiny bit the handle pulls right down no issue. This is a minor issue and does not affect the cutting. The second issue is the blade. It has allot of chip out for a 60T blade. So far other than that the saw has been great.

You cannot beat a saw with a 16” cross cut capacity with the footprint of a standard miter saw! BUY IT youll never look back

When you lock the saw In place and just cut wood the saw dust just blows back towards you not really good at collecting dust. I don’t have a shop vac hooked up yet or a dust collection system but I think at this price point it should be better at not throwing dust forward. I like the saws precision but the dust collection needs improvement

I returned this saw after 2 months of moderate use. I was very disappointed to find the saw head has side to side slop causing curved cuts on anything above 5 inches wide. One example: I was cutting 12 inch squares for some small cabinet carcasses out of 1/2″ plywood and had to redo them twice. The third time i made sure to control the travel of the saw along my mark. This is not how this type of saw is supposed to operate. And that was just thin plywood that i was gradually passing through. I will say that if you’re framing or building palettes and other applications where up to 1/16″ of variation on a cut doesn’t ruin the product then this saw is absolutely awesome. I loved how smooth and space saving it is, and the led light definitely aids in production speed (i built workbenches out of 2×6 with it too). However it could not be trusted to make tight joints so i couldn’t keep it. Really bummed.
