This Heavy-Duty Steel Frame Bandsaw from Delta boasts a dual-voltage (115/230V) TEFC motor for powering through demanding re-sawing applications needed for any woodworking project. A two-speed pulley system provides the flexibility needed for cutting a variety of materials and the oversized cast iron table provides exceptional support for larger cutting operations. This saw features rubber-coated upper and lower nine-spoke wheels for superb blade tracking, while the table’s standard-sized T-slot accepts all 3/4 in. x 3/8 in. miter gauges.

Excellent EXCEPT IT DIDN’T come with a fence nor a light. Most good saws will have these 2 options included. The lamp was an easy fix as our wood shop has lots of excellent lighting. However the rest of our gang was very disappointed without a fence. I simply clamped L shaped square to table top.

I went through the entire calibration and adjustments before plugging it in for the first time. I was amazed; everything was right on the bug’s nuts just as it came from the factory. I didn’t have to tweak anything.

Ordered to be delivered to store. Arrived 5 days ealier then promised. Arrived in very good condition. Packaged in strong box packed with formed foam to fit each piece. No damage at all upon arrival. Very easy to assemble. One strong person can do it by himself, but would be easier to mount saw on stand with two people because of weight. There are two things I would like to have seen on this saw. First is a blade tensioning scale or guide. The tensioning instructions in the manual are hit and miss at best. This is the reason I only gave it 4 stars. Even most cheaper saws have this. The other would be a work light. these two things would make this saw a great saw. Had to only adjust the blade quides out of the box. However, this has to be done every time you change blade sizes for the saw to give excellant cutting results. Still would recommend this saw. Am very pleased with it.

heavy duty. blades are easy to change. The one problem is don’t try to set it up by yourself. Suggest you pare it up with a portable support I had to return the one shown with it because it was the wrong one. also wanted to put it on my Home Depot card but ended up putting it on Pay-Pal

This is the second band saw I’ve owned. So far I’ve dawn some hard wood in wide circles and it does a great job. The assembly’s instruction could have been much clearer but other than that I am very satisfied. I hope it serves me well for years to come.

The saw went together easily and is a real nice piece of gear. Works beautifully, is pretty darned quiet and has every feature I would want. The only slight downsides would be (1) no fence (which I don’t care, having shop built units) and, in my opinion, (2) the manual steers you wrong about the setup adjustments. The saw can be set up much better than their instructions give you. Nevertheless, with the improved setup, it works just great. There are $1200 saws on the market that aren’t any better from my view. Totally worth the price!
