Description
The Delta 12 in. Disc Sander features a reliable 1/2 HP motor. An integral dust collection fan draws dust away from table and into hose for cleaner sanding operation. The machine has a cast-iron base with pre-drilled base holes for easy bench mounting.

THE SANDER TOOK 6 WEEKS OR SO TO REACH HAWAII…AND I COULD SE WHY WHEN IT ARRIVED…HEAVY AND STOUTLY BUILT, THE PACAKGING WAS AMAZING, AND ALTHO THE EXTERIOR WAS PUNCTURED, THE FIRST LAYER OF FOAM SAVED IT. ONLY MINOR PROB IS INSTALL SCREW FOR BRAKE RITE UNDER BRAKE LEVER SEEMS POORLY PLACED OR AT LEAST SHOULD HAVE SWIVEL ON LEVER TO MAKE EASIER EVEN THO ONE TIME DEAL. I almost didn’t purchase this item because of the reviews on the internet even other name brands had poor reviews so I decided to take the chance on this one as as i have other delta tools and they perform great, All i can say is do not believe those reviews this is a great sander the disc is flat and rotates true and straight, the bed is flat and the miter guage slides in the slot with little effort it looks like delta updated the locking mechanism for the bed tilt as it is a double knob setup and locks on both ends securely at any angle, I have used this sander many times and am satisfied that it will perform well for a long time. Oh and yes the sand paper is a little hard to remove but if you use a heat gun and some adhesive remover it won’t take you to long to replace it with a little less aggressive paper.
