Purchased the sander a few years ago. Shipped to the store. Pick up was easy.Easy to assemble and setup. Directions were well written and easy to follow. The sander has worked flawlessly. Belt change is straight forward, dust collection is excellent with about 98%. The auxiliary table is a bit awkward when stored.

Second time I have purchased an edge sander in my career. Fist time was a Taiwan made sander that lasted me 14 years. This delta is a much higher quality. And easy to assemble.

Machine came into store and I picked it up the process was flawless. You will need another person or 2 to help with assembly. I’ve used machine some and it works very well. You will need dust collection as well machine makes a lot of dust.

I really enjoy this sander. I have used it for two months, and can say that it is a well built beast of a machine. The dust catcher manages to catch most of the dust, but I still use a dust mask when I am sanding. I cannot imagine using this without a good dust collection system. My sander runs on 230 volts, and I have never felt that it needed more power. I normally use 80 or 100 grit for most work, and it does a great job. It is very easy to change belts. I have used it continuously for over an hour and the motor got warm but not too hot to touch.Assembly took about two hours. An hour of that was spent removing the packing grease. Assembly requires two strong people. The heavy weight helps to keep it stable during use.

The sander is a solidly built sander. It sets up easily, within an hour. I found the sander is under powered and the belt can be stopped easily while sanding a piece of wood. I currently have it connected to 120 v power and will try 220 v to see if it will have more power.

This machine was easy to assemble. The belt tracked perfect right out of the box. I sanded all my cabinet door edges with a great result, square, smooth, straight and professional looking. I would recommend this sander. I plan to use it for many more projects. Ordering through my local Home Depot store only took three days. The store employees loaded it onto my trailer and away I go. I ordered an outdoor grill cover to protect it while not in use. Looks good in my shop. Great addition. I like the powerful 1 1/2 hp motor and quality steel it is constructed of. The Delta LOGO shaped knobs are not very ergonomical to use. I have had it a month now and no regrets.
