I love this Delta folding Miter Saw table. Not quite as compact as I expected. Quality made and designed with thought for the working man. The wheels are 8 inch diameter for easy moving. It is heavy duty and will take a lot of abuse, not that I recommend abusing it but it will be used on construction sites and will stand up to hard use. Assembly was fairly simple and the instructions are clear. The mounting is truly universal and will adapt to nearly all saws. My low cost saw fit perfectly and the work height is 39 inches, very comfortable for me at 9’ 10”. The mounts slide freely with the saw mounted and lock and unlock with less than a ¼ turn. Make sure you have these slides locked at all times, especially if moving or folding or the saw will slide to lowest end with a bang. There is a foot pedal to unlock for quick and easy and very smooth set up and take down. You need to put your foot against the base to fold and unfold table. The lock is positive in both positions for safety. The work supports are easily adjustable AND the lock screws have a brass insert to prevent damage to riser and threads and they will expand to over 9 feet, again with a simple push on a lock lever. Collapsed and standing upright it measures 55 inches high and 24 inches deep and with my slider saw mounted it is 30 inches wide and 32 inches deep. The end caps on the frame tubes by the wheels fell off before assembling. You might want to considering gluing them in place.

Very nice stand; I used this for my 10″ Delta Cruzer I acquired last year. Just assembled the stand this weekend and am very happy. The only issues I had were a few wear spots on the finish due to abrasion against the packaging. One pre-installed end cap was slightly crushed – but that is on one of the wheel tubes that never contacts the ground. And why do miter saw stand manufacturers ALWAYS include bolts for mounting the saw onto the stand that are too long unless you use a board under the saw, have bolt cutters (I don’t recommend), or you purchase shorter bolts?!! Longer screws ALWAYS inhibit the full range of angle settings on the saw!!! All-in-all I am very happy; this is lighter weight than my 12″ saw unit by another manufacturer, so it’s easier to set up and take down.

The stand came packed very nicely with Styrofoam and a sturdy box. The stand took about 20 minutes to put together. Its steel construction should last for years. Here are some pros:Stand will mount almost any miter saw. Will stand vertically with or without saw mounted which makes for a small footprint.Adjustable stops on both ends.Quick release mounts allow saw to be used off the stand.Large wheels so you can roll this over almost anything.Constructed of large OD steel tubing to support up to 350 Lbs.Easy clamp-on miter saw mountsOne-Step set up and fold using the foot actuated pedalLength about 25 inches.Height about 36 inches.Width about 58 inches.Width with extensions and stops fully extended about 114 inches.Below are some of the cons in my opinion, but nothing majorly important that affects the functionality.Cons:All the hardware is metric, you will need 3 different size wrenches to put this together.Instructions could be a little more clear.Hardware isn’t labeled as to which nuts and bolts go where, so it’s kind of a trial and error thing.I wish the stability feet were made of hard rubber instead of the plastic.Overall this is the perfect miter saw stand. I can’t say enough good things about it and would highly recommend.

There are only two reasons why this did not get 5 stars. One is that the stand is heavy, so it you are to lift it, it’s not going to easy and it’s a little awkward to lift. And the second reason is the brackets that attach to the miter saw that are used to mount it to the stand aren’t really tool free to take the saw on and off the stand. I have a Ryobi miter saw stand, and taking the saw on and off was easier, just flip two handles. Also the Ryobi stand was a little bit more stable, but this stand is more than sturdy enough that is it not an issue. Plus the added mobility of this stand and the ease to fold up the stand with the saw on it is so nice. I think the stand opens and closes easier with the saw on it than not on it.There are also some really nice features that make it easy to use. To extend out the side supports is easy, there is a lever, depress it and the support slides out easily. Release it and the support locks in really well, knocking into it does not move it (I found out the hard way). This does require some assembly and you will need a few basic hand tools. There are a could of bags of hardware, but nothing is labeled. The only thing missing in the manual is an actual pictorial of each piece of hardware along with a name or some identifying what each part is. I had to use a metric ruler to figure some of them out. Even simple trial and error will work, it will just take a couple of extra minutes. Assembly is not difficult. The first step of putting in the bolt that act as pivot point is the hardest but if the unit is laying on its side it is actually easy. Maybe took me 20 minutes to put it together and that was unpacking it and find the few wrenches and screwdriver. The knobs to adjust the side supports are easy to access and there is also a small tray to hold a tape measure, pen/pencil, or something else.

The general design is good. I don’t like that it requires two hands to extend the material supports. My Rigid brand can be operated with one hand, making faster and easier to use, you don’t need to let go of your material to adjust. The foot latch system doesn’t work very well when unfolding the stand into working position. It catches when latching into place, needing assistance.

The stand is very well built and is very easy to use. The slide out supports are very snug with no drooping or side play. It was very easy to put together.

This is a folding portable miter saw stand from Delta that collapses for storage. It’s a big overall unit, and is a bit heavy and hefty, but it provides a highly stable base for the saw and work piece material. The stand has adjustable saw mounting brackets that slide easily for proper placement and lock with the twist of the handle. They provide a solid base for the saw, and you can lock the saw in with supplied bolts. The work piece supports are adjustable up and down and can be extended easily for supporting large work pieces. Each support is about 2 feet from the center of the stand and can be extended out to 4 feet 8 inches from the center, for a total work piece support length of over 9 ft. Assembly is easy and takes about 20 minutes. The unit has wheels for moving, and locks upright, with rubber feet providing a stable and stationary base. To move, you depress the lock release with your foot and collapse the unit, which locks into place as well in the folded position. The unit is very well built and comes with a two year warranty. Using this unit is great compared to just using a base for your saw, and much safer. The ability to firmly hold the saw and provide support for both ends of your work piece increases your ability to cut accurately and safely as a one person operation. Overall, this is a very nice saw stand with good features and great functionality.

Very nice miter saw stand. I currently use it to hold my 12″ compound sliding miter saw. The only drawback to this stand is it is fairly heavy and large, but in my case, the saw that it holds is also heavy and large so there is no getting around this issue. I have used this saw for cutting long pieces of trim to framing lumber. For these long pieces the extendable wings are very helpful. I also have been very pleased with the functionality of the stops on the wings to make repeated cuts.

My current miter saw stand is two generations old with fold out legs and bolt on accessories. I thought it was convenient. I was wrong. The Delta folding miter saw stand blew me away. Everything you want is built into an easily movable, secure, stable platform. It collapses/unfolds easily, comes equipped with rollers, stops and a shelf while accommodating Dewalt, Rigid and Hitachi saws… and I’ll assume Delta. I don’t currently own one but it’s a safe bet. Since my space is at a premium and setting things up then breaking them down in a hassle – it took me 15 minutes with this stand before I realized my old one is destined for craigslist.Things I liked1.) Easy assembly – 5 minutes with a ratchet and wrench 2.) Folds/unfolds easily with no drama (see video)3.) Built in rollers that convert to stops for repeated cuts and extend out ~3 feet on either side4.) Convenient tray to hold your pencil, tape measure and square5.) Built with strong quality materials6.) Easy, intuitive adjustments7.) Lets you store everything together with no need to bolt things on8.) Provides a sturdy and stable cutting platformThings I didn’t like1.) Nothing – I’m seriously in love with the stand

I ordered this stand to help save my back and get my cutting off the ground. I’m just a DIYr and most times can’t justify the money or the space in my garage. My saw, a Delta 10” combo didn’t line up exactly with the mounting brackets. Easy up easy down. Easy parking too

This saw stand should be the next thing a person buys after the saw. I’m extremely impressed with the weight/structure ratio. It’s not too heavy to break your back, and it’s not so light that you can knock it over if you don’t have your board balanced just right. It took roughly 30 minutes to set-up from start to finish and I wish I would have had this stand about 8 years ago. It would have saved A LOT of back-pain, knee-pain, and overall headache of just making my saw more mobile and easier to work with. This stand also stores incredibly well and doesn’t take up any more room than your average dolly.

If you are looking for a sturdy, reliable, and easy to store stand then I highly recommend this. This stand is made of heavy duty material that withholds the toughest jobs. It has easy locks that you install on your saw, then the saw can be placed on the stand tracks and locked into place. The best part is when I’m done with the saw, I can simply release the stand into a hand truck and move it anywhere I want. Highly recommended for any job site.

The assembly for the miter saw stand was fairly easy. I set the unit on it’s side to install the pivot bolts. This made it much easier.Once assembled, the stand folds up and down easily. Adding the miter saw did not effect the operation, nor did the extra weight add any burdenThe entire assembly folds out to full position with ease. Once locked in place, the stand is sturdy as a rock. The end supports extend out easily to allow longer material. The miter saw can slide up or down as needed. Once the desired position is found, it locks tight into position. The saw can be removed and stored separately from the stand without having to remove the mounts.

Everyone should have one. I put off buying one for years and now regretting not buying one sooner.I beats carrying the saw wherever you need it. And for the money it is a solid stand.
