Excellent value at the price. Saw was dead square out of the box and has performed nicely so far. We’ll see if it last as long as the Craftsman it replaced (served well for 16 years). Only time will tell.Mobile stand works great! Minor criticism is that they deleted the outfeed support on this model.

Bought this saw to replace my 17 yr old Ryobi that wasn’t dado blade compatible. The Delta was simple enough to assemble. Folds & unfolds with ease. Replacing the saw blade with the dado blades was no problem. Worked great. All accessories help to make the job easier. Satisfied with this purchase.

Got this as an early father’s day gift. Saw was pretty easy to set up, about 30 minutes to assemble the cart. Swapped out the blade for a Freud glue line rip. This saw has plenty of power. It cut ripped through some 2x4s in no time. Would definitely recommend this saw.

Good saw. My only issue is the blade plate adjustment seems flaky.

I assembled this Delta 36-6023 portable 10” table saw a week ago. I’m in the middle of building a house and wanted a job saw we could keep here. We had been using an old portable contractor saw that rested on scissor stand. That’s a good system for fitting into the job truck’s side compartments, and a good saw. I like this Delta better because it’s much easier to move around and to stow in a different room very quickly, and is at least as stable if not more so than the other setup. Already in the first week we’ve ripped pressure-treated yellow pine 2x10s, plywood, and a bunch of 1×6 white pine. Some of the white pine was beveled at 15 degrees and some at 28 degrees. The blade tilt is quick and easy to adjust, and no problem to bump to exactly the increment you want. The rip fence was calibrated and parallel right out of the box, and is super easy to use with the rack and pinion knob adjustment. I’d like a higher fence and may attach a maple board for this but that’ll throw off the nice visual indicator on the rip gauge. I didn’t think I’d use the fence measure – I operated a unisaw several years and only worked from direct measurement. But already in one week I’ve begun trusting this rack and pinion fence and integral tape measure for accuracy. The miter gauge is pretty sorry. Plastic, tiny, no positive stops. It’s just good enough I may not throw it away for now until I decide if I want to expend extra bucks to get a better one. But on a job site, 99% of table saw use is for ripping. We’ll use Skilsaw, recip saw or miter box for anything else. So I guess Delta figured for a contractor job saw the miter gauge doesn’t matter. They’re probably right. We’ll see. The included assembly and operating instructions were very clear and easy to follow. From the time I cut open the box, total assembly time was less than one hour. I should have worn gloves though. Sharp edges on some of the milled aluminum parts drew a little blood. Instructions didn’t mention I’d need a 9/16” and a 10mm socket or wrench for assembly of the base. Conveniently, Delta did include a two-ended tool, Allen wrench/PH2 screwdriver, for assembling the blade height and fence knobs. My favorite thing is how easily the saw and stand fold up and unfold. The release foot pedal is a little bit of a trick to hit while holding the two handles and balancing on my other foot, but it releases with a gentle nudge and the saw readily converts from a table saw to a well-balanced rolling piece of stored equipment. Just as easily the saw, when I release the foot pedal, will roll back toward me and smoothly stand up to operating position. In storage condition the saw occupies 25” x 25” footprint, 45” tall. In operating mode the saw is 25” x 45” footprint, 36 1/8” to top of table. Delta configured stowage for wrenches, fence, pawls, guard, and miter gauge. Almost as long again as assembly time is how long it took me to figure out where each part went and how to fit the part into proper stowage. After just a week I’m used to these bits and it works easier for me. Really a nice kit overall. The saw rolls quite easily on large wheels. It’ll be no problem to roll over a threshold or curb, and turning it is as easy as moving a lightly loaded hand truck. This thing isn’t a lightweight though. It weighs around 80#. You’d never know it rolling it about because Delta did such a good job balancing the load on the stand and wheels. I grew up with Craftsman old school belt-driven table saw, owned a scary no-name direct-drive portable table saw, and operated a cabinet shop centered on a Delta Unisaw. This new Delta is just perfect for my new basement shop. It’s a pleasure to set up and stow away. It does a fine job ripping whatever I throw at it. Adjustments to blade tilt and height are easy, and the fence is a joy to use. The saw motor operates smoothly and not too noisily. Vibration is less than I expected, and doesn’t affect accuracy of any cuts I’ve attempted so far. I’m amazed and glad such a small table saw has 30” rip capacity. More than I’ll need, but great to have the capability. On the other hand, Portability and compactness aren’t without compromise. I’ve already learned that with only five inches of table on the outfeed side of the blade I always will consider outfeed support before I start the saw. Not complaining, I’m fine with this trade-off for easy storage. I’m happy with the saw and look forward to years of service from it.

I returned the product because the table was not flat

Wow!Sturdy, Easy to use, compact yet so very versatile. I love that it has an integrated stand. You won’t be disappointed with this little saw. Now I do not even roll out my huge table saw when this does what I need for most jobs. I have had it about 6 months so any defects should have surfaced by now. So happy with my purchase.

Assembly drawings could have been a little more clear, but otherwise the saw is great. I have used it on several projects already and haven’t had a single issue. The breakdown and storage space saving is a big positive for the saw.

Really like the new fence.

There were several dents in the shipping box when I received it. The first thing I checked was the table flatness. It is not perfect but acceptable. I followed the included instruction to assemble it without any issue. In fact the instruction is well written and easy to follow. I like the nylon filled nuts used in the assembly. I do not have to tighten any of them after the initial assembly. The rear extension wing from the previous model is eliminated in this design. However the bosses for mounting the rear extension wing remain in the table casting. I built my rear extension wing without any difficulties (see the attached photos).Things I like in this saw are the fence system, quality material and few plastic parts used. The motor in this saw does not have soft start. This is why I only give it the 4 stars rating.

There are many things I like and then do not like about this saw. Previously I had the larger, Delta 36-725 Contractors Table Saw so my experience is compared to this model. The Motor on this unit seems to be a bit off, it is jumpy when you first start the saw. It chewed through cross-cut sled I made which kind of made me upset. The fence is good as far as the rack and pinion alignment but the fence itself leaves a bit to be desired, I wish it was a bit more heavy duty. Also, the throat plate insert is poor. On my old saw it was much more heavy duty, this one is light and cheap. Otherwise this saw is good, I do like the stand and it is easy to store and move. Using the fence is easy and it is nice, just I wish it was a bit more heavy duty. I also wish that it was longer or deeper, by the time you pass your piece through the blade there is not much room on the outfeed side, I made a sled but some kind of outfeed system would be nice like on prior models like this.

Everything works great so far. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is the directions are incorrect on which holes to put bolts through on the stand. Luckily I read about it on other reviews, and the light bulb in my head went on, and I figured out by looking at the picture on the box. But once together, works great, highly recommend folding stand for easy portability.

Before buying this table saw, I did a bit of research on other brands and it seemed like they all had one issue or another. Some have a soft start circuit and while that would be nice, reportedly the soft start circuit often goes out. Many of them have plastic gears in the blade elevation linkage. And others have a smaller 8.25″ blade. Then I stumbled upon this Delta. I liked the rack & pinion fence, the dado capability and the rolling fold up stand. It was on sale too, so I ordered one. When I started to unbox it, I noticed the quality is actually really good. It looks to me like the build quality is better than a discontinued DeWalt DW7480 I also own. This Delta was made in Taiwan, while the DeWalt was made in China. This saw also has metal gears, not plastic! It has adequate power and seems quiet compared to the DeWalt as well. I would highly recommend this saw to anyone looking for a portable saw.
