The Delta 1.3 Amp 20 in. Variable Speed Scroll Saw features an on-tool blade storage area that provides neat, organized protection for scroll saw blades. The unit comes with 2 blades. This saw can operate at variable speeds from 400-1,750 RPM.
- On/off switch, electronic variable speed dial, flexible dust blower, and blade-tensioning lever are all conveniently located up front on the arm for easy accessibility
- Tool-free blade clamp allows for quick, easy blade changes in seconds
- Single lever, tool-free blade tensioning allows for quickly adjusting the blade to the proper tension which maximizes blade life and accuracy
- Large, cast-iron table provides excellent material support and bevels 0° – 45° left and right

Other than the directions lacking on assembly I have nothing but good things to report from using the saw. It does everything I hoped it would with a large deck. I would recommend to anyone considering a purchase of this item.

Shipping from Home Depot was very quick and at $299 I was satisfied with the price. There are only a couple things to assemble on the scroll saw, but the Delta directions are terrible which makes a simple assembly much more difficult. Regarding assembly, I would recommend finding an online video to watch and circumvent the poor instructions which leave out several steps and leave you wondering what to do with your extra pieces (which turn out not to be extra). It is an overall decent product. For a few extra dollars they could have included a work light, but I would recommend it if you can get it for the $299 sale price.

I love my new Delta Scroll Saw. I needed it to cut 2 inch wood letters and had tried with a cheaper scroll saw and that didn’t work out well at all. With my new Delta I am able to cut my projects with no problem. The larger 2 inch wood is of course a little harder, but so much easier than my old scroll saw. I love the quick blade change option. I had a Delta scroll for 25 years and it preformed beautifully, when the motor gave out my kids got me a cheaper one which didn’t work well at all. I am so happy to have a real scroll saw again that will last a long time. Thank you Delta 🙂

it has a deep throat. variable speed, easy to change blades, a table that tilts 2 ways, the only issue that I had was accidentally hitting the large on button and I don’t know how I did that

I recently purchased this saw. Used it for one project so far. I was working with 1-1/4” actual size boards. It cut through the wood with no problems. The blade quickly releases and reattaches for inside cuts. The cuts were nice and smooth. I would recommend this saw.

This machine is a game changer when it comes to detailed scroll work. I used to use a Wen scroll saw which served me very well but comes no where close to having the finesse and smoother operation of the Delta. I read one review that said you could put a coin on the work table and it would not vibrate off? This is true! Very smooth operation. Blade change can be. Little difficult be with time it becomes easier. Overall I am so pleased with this unit. Only regret is I didn’t do it sooner!
