The Delta 14 in. Mobile Base reduces the burden of moving heavy machinery. It features durable steel construction, has a foot brake for safety and is protected by a 2-year limited warranty. When lowered into position, the base has adjustable foot pads to ensure even contact with the floor.
- Built with heavy-gauge steel and features a foot-operated control lever that raises and lowers the base for easy movement and positioning
- For use with light-duty wood shapers, utility wood shapers, 6 in. belt/12 in. disc-finishing machines, 6 in. belt-finishing machines, 12 in. disc-finishing machines and 14 in. band saws
- Equipped with 1 single-swivel caster and 2 sturdy wheels

Since the holds in my bandsaw base didn’t align with the holes in the mobile base, I added plywood in the corners of the mobile base for additional friction. Now no need to bolt the two together. It’s a great improvement to my shop. Well worth the money.

This mobile base is very good. Very much strong enough to move your machine around and very nicely built. My “Delta 14″ band-saw is very old and doesn’t have a model number. I’m not sure if the base it is sitting on is/was standard equipment. I remember my father bringing it home (used) 70 years ago. As reported, the inside measurements of the mobile base are 19 5/8″ x 17 1/4″. I needed 22 1/4″ x 14 3/4″. The width is OK but I’ll lengthen the 19 5/8″ side by about 2 3/4”. I have the means.There will be no problem moving and leveling my saw.
