These are rice bowls in four different colors of brown in the Studio Craft line by Denby. I love the look of them and they match the décor of my house perfectly. The colors range from a light oatmeal to a deep, dark brown. They remind me of handmade pieces I have bought in the past but at a more economical price than those were.While we eat a lot of rice, I find myself using these bowls for other uses. I especially like them for limiting the size of portions that I would generally use a larger size bowl for. I find that I like to fill a cereal bowl to a certain depth, no matter what the size of the bowl and if it is less than that, I feel like I have not had enough.I like these for side salads and for serving a small portion of soup with my larger salad or with a sandwich. The name may be called rice bowls but they are very versatile once you think outside the box.The bowls nest together for storing in the cupboard. I’m planning on buying more of this particular style of dinnerware in the future.Over the last month, I’ve used the bowls for a wide variety of purposes, including rice of course, but also to hold candy. Other uses include a small size soup bowl and a small cereal bowl. I like a small amount of cereal each day along with a bowl of fruit for my breakfast. Using two of these bowl works excellently for both.

Really like the earth tones of this set of four bowls. They look great whether in use or stacked upon a shelf. A great addition to your kitchen, especially if stored on an open shelf as they look as good as they are functional. Each bowl is about four inches in diameter, perfect not only for rice but any small serving of soup or sides. They are quite heavy for their size, and arrive in a really nice box – I’d be happy to give these as a gift (but I’m keeping them!).
