   It is a reproduction, so the dragon isn’t metal. But I loved the way the globe is translucent and seems to glow.

   This a bitchin ornament! Put this in front of one of the lights on your tree and the gold ball illuminates.

   My kids and I collect the dragon holiday ornaments. This one is a favorite. The details on the orb and the dragon are great. It also hangs evenly–not lopsided. Too, it fits in the Christmas theme–no skulls or the like.

   This ornament is much cooler seeing it first hand. I thought the ball was painted a copper color, imagine my surprise when I found it slightly see thru. Awesome.

   I collect these types of things as does my son and i had gotten him the Protector of the Gothic Portal Celtic Dragon 2010 Holiday Ornament. I thought he was going to fall off the couch. He is nearly 22 and when we held a light up to the ball, it just glistened. the dragon itself had such fine detailing…. TOTALLY mind blowing. He said it won’t be used as an ornament, it’ll be up all year long, That’s my boy! I’d do the same thing…. Never have I been disappointed with any merchandise from your store, but this one, really took the cake. Its the best one yet.    Have collected the yearly Christmas dragons for years. Always a bonuson our tree. You do have to find a sturdy branch for them as theyare quite heavy. They have also been a great favorite as gifts.Gothic Portal has a transparent globe if in front of a light. Looks great.

    The photo indicated that the globe the Dragon was sitting on was opaque gold. The globe on the piece I received is actually a semi-translucent yellow color. At first I was disappointed, but when I hung it on my tree with a light bulb directly behind the globe, it lit up and glowed in such a beautiful and ethereal way that I am now very happy about this discrepancy. I just wanted to let others know if the difference between what is pictured and what you may actually get.
