surprisingly low quality for dewalt, after a couple of doors the drill bit is already starting to fail. will do the job if you only need it for a small number of doors.

High quality product that was easy to use

Being able to locate both holes from one measure was great. The large hole worked wonderfully. The smaller catch boring hole could not be trusted to center on the door and so was only used as a general template that needed to be visually adjusted after marking.

I had doors that had knobs installed with holes that were undersized and off center. I picked this kit because the clamp was large enough to allow board behind the door for the pilot bit. Worked perfectly.

Works like a charm.

Great quality for the price and easy to use.

This install kit will save you a lot of measuring and hoping you have the holes straight and in the right location. The locking knob on the rear is what sold me. No clamps in the way when you are drilling. Great tool when replacing slab doors,( just replaced 3) or making your own.

Worked well. Got the job done.

Overall very pleased with the product. It’s well-built and functions as intended. My only real concern is that the jig holes that the hole saw fits into seem to have taken excessive wear after only a few uses. But perhaps this is just from the initial “breaking in” of the product.

Locking mechanism does not hold tight so jig moved a little when drilling into metal door. I used another clamp to hold it in place and then worked fine.

Concept is good but the plastic bushings are chewed up by the teeth of the hole saw during the beginning of the cut even after lubricating bushing and holesaw with teflon. After a couple of uses this affects the accuracy. I attempted to locate replacement bushings without success. I would give it 5 stars if replacement bushings were easily available at reasonable cost or if the bushing ID was slightly larger at the cutting end (a relief) to prevent tooth contact during initial cutting. I now see others have made similar complaints. It will work if you only have a few to do but if you are doing more than that look elsewhere. A simple relief for the teeth would have been a simple and inexpensive improvement to extend the usefulness and accuracy of this expensive tool.

Performed as described, except that the hole saw shaved off part of the plastic guide in the jig. Otherwise, a very helpful product.

Worked Perfect! It is plastic, but once you line it up, works great! Used multiple times with no issues.
