I work in the IT Field as an IT Contractor doing a variety of assignments. Recently, I was installing some ATMs and had to drill 1/2″ holes into a concrete floor. Normally, I would have avoided these jobs with all my worth. But, in field work speed and customer satisfaction is paramount. So, I used this drill and was really impressed with how easily the holes were made and I could make my customer happy. Using this drill I hope to make LOTS of money. My only complaint was that I thought it was a little loud for a retail store (don’t want to disturb the customers). Probably not much can be done about it. Then again the drill was only on for a few seconds per hole.

My wife said “not another new toy”. I said this is no toy. This things goes through concrete block with ease. I got this right before we had to retrofit a classroom that has cinder block walls. This thing went through with ease and the anti-fatigue feature was noticeable that evening and the next day. My arms were not as tired as when I used the older model without this feature. Will definitely be my go to tool tool for bigger drilling jobs.

It works great, except for that it said, to me that it takes 1 1/8″. To me that it means it takes 1 1/8″ bit. That it does not. It only takes SDS Drill bits and attachments. Not 1/18″ drills and attacments But otherwise, it works great John

Bought this drill after I got frustrated with how slow my cordless hammer drill was. Have been using the corded Dewalt for drilling into concrete block. Difference is night and day, like buttering hot sweet corn. Smooth and fast. Great addition to my “tool bag”.

The vibration isolation handle does a great job of reducing hand fatigue. Also the depth gage is great. Since it has teeth it will not slip as you drill several holes. It’s also quick and easy to slide.

I love this thing. I bought it for a specific purpose, to install a grounding round through a back area of a concrete patio. I used it to drill through the concrete and then drive the 8 foot grounding rod deep into the earth. It performed so well that I can’t wait to find more jobs for it.
