I love the idea but the battery seems to lose it’s charge way to fast. I do. not know if this is an issue with the adpter or the first 20volt battery I tried. I am currently trying the second battery.

The new 20v batteries with the adapter made my old 18v Dewalt tools work better than they’ve worked in quite some time! The newer 20v batteries last much longer than the 18v, plus the 20v batteries work with full power right up to being completely out of charge, unlike the older 18v ones. I would most definitely encourage those who still have the older 18v Dewalt tools to re-energize them with these newer 20v batteries with adapter! Bart.

Worked great. Tools as just as comfortable with adapter. Adapter is harder to get out then battery if you want to swap between tools but still manageable.

The batteries are great. The only thing I have a problem with is the adapter is very difficult to take off the drill and switch it to the flashlight. Maybe because I’m female and have small hands.
