I was looking to replace a dc charger for my 18 volt battery which had been stolen. The description said the charger was ac/dc which understood to mean I could use it in my car to charge batteries with. I was disappointed to find I couldn’t without an inverter. I’ll keep it anyway.

Excellent. Works with all my 18 volt including the older oddballs and all the different strength 20 volt DEWALT batteries. Convenient design takes up less space than two units and only takes one plug. Capable of charging 1 18v and 1 20v battery at the same time. That’s perfect for my needs.

I recently started to upgrade my 18V NiCad tools to the 20V MAX lineup. Having multiple battery chargers or the correct charger when you needed it was a hassle. This unit is exactly what i was looking for. I can carry one charger and charge any of my batteries. It uses the same charge routine as the original chargers as near as i can tell and it works great.

All in all i love this product, there are some changes that would make it better 1. would like to have some tabs to wind the cord on2. it has a big round thing on the cord it wold be nice if it was smaller
