So far it charges batteries unlike the DCB107 that came with my drill and died after 2 years of mostly sitting around waiting for me to use it. I did a post-mortem examination on the DCB107 and found a large section of the PCB completely fried. I hope this one fairs better. Made in China.

I am quite impressed by this charger, which allows you to charge 12v-20v Dewalt batteries. There is a diagnostic system that lets you know if your battery is being charged or if there may be something faulty with the battery. I am using the charger with some DCB205 – 5Ah 20v Max Lithium batteries and they charged up fast, going from 1-bar on the built-in LED fuel gauge to fully charged in less than an hour.
