Works. Gives more run time on my curcular saw over the 2amps but seems to not slide into and out of tool as easy as the 2amp ones. Need strike it with hand to remove it every time! Happens on both the new battery

The battery life indicator is super convenient.The battery life itself is better than the 1.3 ah, of course, but I was not over-thrilled by it’s run time.Still, even with that, at a sale price at this time it was a purchase I would recommend.

This drill has provided me with mobility that I have NOT had in past. Havi g other cordless tools with similar batteries has worked to my advantage also. Great little carrying case makes it easy to transport and to secure. Only had this tool for short time but find I use it often. Store delivery worked out great, seeing I’m there on regular bases anyway. Would recommend to others.

The 3.0 batteries have a little different footprint than some of the other Dewalt batteries, they are a little bit longer. Well built like the other, runtime is as expected with a 3.0 ah. It did better than expected with the heat gun. The main reason I got the 3.0 is for work lights and they provide a good enough base support.

Got 2 one for me and one for my son works well so far! I would recommend charging the batteries before you start your project. Mine stopped working like the the battery was dead intermittently. So I charged it up and has worked well ever since.
