The DCR010 is designed to be the most versatile Bluetooth speaker on the market. The unit is able to run off DEWALT slide pack battery packs including 12-Volt, 20-Volt, and FLEXVOLT packs. Can be run in AC current mode with provided power cord. Keep your DEWALT 20-Volt tools running longer with the 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Premium Battery and Charger Kit. The batteries are compatible with the complete line of DEWALT 20-Volt MAX tools. The charger is compatible with all DEWALT 12-Volt and 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion battery packs, this charger is easy to use, quiet and exceptionally stable with its 4 plastic feet. This kit includes 2 DCB205 batteries, DCB115 charger and kit bag.

Seems pretty rugged. Sound quality is decent. USB port on the side is handy for charging your peripheral. I haven’t used it with a battery so I cant speak on that. The metal grille over the drivers has withstood some decent debris. No complaints.

A portable jobsite bluetooth radio makes sense even off the job. I use this in the garage, on the patio, at the lake and during DIY projects around the house. This is also excellent for tent camping paired with the DeWalt inflator and DeWalt portable fan. This radio does have pretty good bluetooth range close to the 100ft. outside with no obsticles, maybe 25ft. indoors in a furnished house with walls and obstructions. The battery life is great even with a 1.5ah battery! Being able to charge a device with USB and running on AC power are also great! The negative for me is the stepped volume settings that add DSP. Only feels like two volumes exist, one for having a conversation over with unnatural bass and the other for competing with tools running in the background cranked (It does sound good at 11). I think this radio should have a passive radiator or tame down the DSP (maybe another step or two down in the middle of the volume range); then you would have a great product!!!

First off I will concur with many other reviewers that this thing sounds great, especially for its size. Bluthooth pairs extremely well with my iphone 8 Plus, all the controls work flawlessly remotely or on the device. A couple other positives; the shelf on tops fits my phone with a case like a glove ( seriously like not a mm to spare) very satisfying, and thr USB charge outlet is strong, charges phones quickly. What disapoints me is how the AC plug fits and the lack of mounting options. The AC plugs directly into the back panel, meaning you can’t push it right up against a back wall on a shelf since the plug protrudes about 2”. And the only mounting holes it has are on the very bottom, why?! So the only options for mounting are vertically or upside down, both make it less useful and render the buttons more difficult to operate. It would be much prefered to mount to the wall or on pegboard.
