A variable-speed dial provides ultimate speed control from 8,000 OPM to 12,000 OPM for a variety of projects. 1-handed locking dust bag attaches securely to the sander to aid in dust collection or the user can attach the sander directly to the DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors. Rubber over mold grip provides comfortable sanding. Replacement 8-hole hook-and-loop sanding pad for quick, easy paper changing. Keep your DEWALT 20-Volt tools running longer with the 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Premium Battery and Charger Kit. The batteries are compatible with the complete line of DEWALT 20-Volt MAX tools. The charger is compatible with all DEWALT 12-Volt and 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion battery packs, this charger is easy to use, quiet and exceptionally stable with its 4 plastic feet. This kit includes 2 DCB205 batteries, DCB115 charger and kit bag.

I have been sticking with Dewalt 20Volt tools. I purchased the prior to applying sealant to my deck. I wanted to get the rough patches and splintered areas leveled down. I have a very large deck and was able to sand all of it with this palm sander. Belt sander would be to fast and cause divets or run away from me. I was able to get under posts and edging. I built the kids wooden swords and bird houses and sanded smoothly and painted. I let me nine year old use it as a first hand on respecting tools and their use. Refinished my dining table, kids desk and going to and sanded my aluminum jon boat down to add a new coat.

This little sander is amazing! I’m loving not being connected to a cord. Seems to do the same job as a orbital corded sander but more user friendly because the cord won’t get in your way. The battery seemed to hold up well through quite a few projects.

Have used this alot and does a great job. Pros and cons to having it battery operated. I like the flexabilty of not messing around with a power cord, but I go through batterys really quickly… I dont know if the sander drains the battery really quickly or if i need to buy new batterys! I like the setting to change power output from low to more powerful.
