I think I’m really going to like this little guy. Light, compact, and powerful.I gave it a test run on 3/4″ plywood with the 24 tooth blade that came with it and it cut very smooth.

Love how light and easy it is to cut straight on plywood. Wish it’s another 1/8” deeper to more easily cut 2x4s. I would give this a 4.5 stars.

This battery lasts forever. I use it with my DeWalt drill out on the ice for drilling holes for ice fishing and it lasts for days! I can drill hundreds of holes with just the one battery. The deal that I bought this with gave me a free tool which I used to grab a jigsaw which is something I’ve always wanted for jobs around the house. Now I have a fantastic jigsaw and I got it for FREE!

I have been using this saw in place of my 6 1/2 in saw that was stolen recently and has proven to be reliable. It has some limitations,like trying to make an angle cut in 2×4 ‘s with the guide

Tool balances pretty well with a large battery and handy for doing 2X4 trimming. The blade depth is great for this job. The downside to the tool is the safety toggles being inconveniently placed making it hard to take advantage of the small size and presumably more “dexterous” ability to to use with one hand while holding the stock with the other. A top mounted “grip” safety switch might help some.

Works. Gives more run time on my curcular saw over the 2amps but seems to not slide into and out of tool as easy as the 2amp ones. Need strike it with hand to remove it every time! Happens on both the new battery

This is the perfect tool for what I wanted it for. I needed to do some ripping and cross cutting to make and trim some double doors and I did not want to use a full size circular saw. This is small and light but powerful enough to cut through anything I needed it to. Its smaller size also makes it far quieter than a full size circular saw although a decent set of ear protectors make that a non-issue in either case. The bevel setting is smooth and quick to use and the joist hanger makes it easy to keep the tool within reach between cuts. This is not as powerful or deep cutting as a full size circular saw but for smaller jobs where you want convenience and ease of use or simply a smaller tool to maneuver this is an excellent saw. If you have a job that this is appropriate for I recommend it without reservation.
