I went from a cheap Ryobi that was about 10 years old that died. Have lots of Dewalt 20v tools and figured I’d get this as a replacement. SImple job cutting cultured veneer stone with a diamond blade and I went through 6 or more batteries for maybe a 60 square foot job. It struggled to cut through the stone on several occasions. It did not feel like it was 8000 rpms, more like 4000 rpms. Waste of my money.

I got this as part of a bigger tool set. Ive used it to cut through aluminum fence. It came with a cutting wheel already with the set and it did the job perfectly. The face guard offer small amount of protection. The only thing i would say is it eats battery but for such a powerful tool, its no surprise. Highly recommended for any small steel, rebar or fence cutting.

Have an old corded heat gun which is still very good. Bought this because battery operated is often essential for lot of winter-time outdoor frozen locks, doors, etc. It is okay and will get the job done, but the battery has a tendency to need recharging before the so-so heat does the job.

The grinder is awesome it really helps to have a cordless device that you can use in a lot of different places and not be stuck with having a cord. The battery life is pretty good and it’s lightweight and I use it a lot for cutting metal and other stuff.
