If you own any of the Dewalt 40V outdoor power tools, these batteries are a must. Having both of these 7.5 Ah batteries assures you long use time for any of your tools. I personally own the 40V Lawn Mower, 40V weed trimmer and the 40V chain saw, (currently looking to purchase a hedge trimmer and blower) all of which work flawlessly with these batteries and give me plenty of time to finish any job I have. I also own 2 – 4 Ah batteries and 1 – 6AH battery, with all of these, I can work for several hours without interruption. Plus, storing my tools is easy as I do not have to worry about leaking gas, or leaking oil in my garage. I can use just both of these 7.5 Ah batteries to finish my current lawn including mowing and trimming, approximately 1.5 hours. The shorter the grass, the longer these batteries last, obviously, the longer the grass, the more energy gets eatin’ up. As far as power, Dewalt claims battery power, gas performance which holds true. these are just as powerful as any gas tools I have used.
