I had the original 20V blower from DeWalt and it was great. I decided to upgrade and get this larger one. Big mistake. The battery life on this is poor. The FlexVolt 6AH battery will last me perhaps 5-6 minutes. The 9AH battery will last me maybe 10 mins. This is the run time from full charge to completely drained. It is also noticeable louder. Given these trade offs, I wish I had kept the smaller 20v blower.

Easy to use and powerful for a cordless blower — although more power would be an asset.

If you’re a pro, then you may need a few batteries to last the day. As a homeowner , I can clean my 800 sq ft deck, 1,000 sq ft patio and other small areas about 3-4 times on 1 charge. And the power of this blower is great

The blower was actually very powerful – just as good or better than the Stihl gas handheld we had. However, even with the 60V Flex battery, the battery died way too quickly for our purposes. We actually purchased this blower, along with DeWalt’s other 60V leafblower and were comparing them in our yard. This one was much better. The other one came with a flat nozzle as well, but it did absolutely nothing in our minds. But when comparing the two 60V leafblowers, both batteries died pretty much at the same time (I have 2 60V Flexvolt batteries.). We returned both of the 60V leafblowers and bought the 20V version. It is plenty powerful for a quick cleanup of the driveway and deck and the 60V Flexvolt battery lasts a lot longer in the 20V blower.

A little heavier than expected but works great

Little heavy but excellent power

Good wind power. Blower will suck down the battery life in minutes on 9 ah battery and lower. I recommend a 12 ah battery for longer run time but the weight will fatigue your wrist

This has proven to be a powerful blower that is comparable to a 2 stroke. It can definitely finish a decent size job quickly. Although, the only critical characteristic is that the battery life is fair for the power you get. It might make it just short of a half an hour on a 9.0a.h battery in runtime but that won’t be an issue if you have an abundance of 60v batteries.

Great product with a lot of power, but the battery doesn’t last long. Definitely last longer than the previous generation of no Flexvolt, but still not enough.

Lots of power, I want to put wheels on it and ride it around.

Works great and is VERY light and easy to use. Love Dewalt products.

Love it. Very powerful. Was able to clean up a huge area in 20 minute instead of the hour and thirty minutes it used to take with the old machine we had.

Great blower. All blowers seem to advertise 125mph, but this one blows many more cubic feet per minute than most, and that makes a huge difference. Can blow grass off the entire driveway by walking down the middle of it without making more than one pass. Clippings seem to vanish. Highly recommend.

6 batteries to do less than a 1/8 acre. Great for teaching teens, and give them breaks. Lightweight. I have 3 batteries.
