As part of the 60-Volt MAX FLEXVOLT battery system of high-powered products, the 60-Volt MAX FLEXVOLT Brushless Handheld Axial Blower powers through your task with up to 600 CFM of air volume and 125 MPH. It features a variable speed trigger and speed lock to control the blower output. The brushless motor design is high efficiency to provide high power and helps extend runtime. This kit also comes with a 20-Volt/60-Volt MAX FLEXVOLT battery that can both power your line-up of 60-Volt MAX tools and equipment as well as your 20-Volt MAX tools and can be charged with your 20-Volt MAX chargers.

Bought this in store without reading online reviews. The power is great. The battery life is terrible for this price. I get an hour+ with my 40v Dewalt 16″ chainsaw. I barely get 20 minutes with a full charge on this blower. Very disappointing.

(1) The air delivery speed of 125 mph is overstated. I measured the air speed with an anemometer (+-5%) located one foot from the air discharge and it measured 92.5 mph. The battery was fully charged.(2) Inserting the battery is difficult.(3) The battery does not always connect with the contacts in the battery charger. Occasionally it requires several “taps” for the connection to take place.

It works great but it doesn’t work with the 20 volt batteries. This should have been clear in the advertisement. It also came and would only work for a couple of minutes and then it shut down. Seemed to have been a battery problem, but not sure. Home Depot did replace it with another one as soon as I took it in..

I wasn’t completely “sold” on a battery operated blower until I used one. It is quiet, no need to yank a starter cord, and I accomplished my routine with the DEWALT with ease. I won’t go back to gasoline powered blowers. My next goal: test drive the DEWALT line trimmer!

Works very well. The 9aH battery will run –non stop–for about 20 minutes. Ill be getting another battery for this. Cleaned up the whole yard and driveway in under 3 charges, and we have A LOT of leaves. This is also great for sweeping out the garage, basement, patio, work truck, etc..

Though you’ll find it in the leaf blower section, I see this as more of a job site blower. The 9Ah battery lasts about 12 minutes. It does a great job of blowing for those 12 minutes, but then you’re done – until the battery is recharged which takes at least a couple hours. Great for job site cleaning due to the instant high output availability without gas. I do use it for leaves also, but plan that strategically due to the short battery life. I use my mower for most of the lawn anyway, so the short battery life isn’t a huge deal. If you want to do a 1/2 acre lawn with only this blower, you will be disappointed. Output is conveniently variable. It’s a bit heavy, but you’re only holding it for 12 minutes so that’s not a deal breaker. It is loud = Ear protection is a must! My rating is based primarily on it’s use as a job site blower.
