The DEWALT 60-Volt MAX Mixer/Drill with E-Clutch System has over 2X the power of our corded mixer, allowing it to easily mix thin set, tile mortar and fiber reinforced concrete. In addition to mixing, the powerful brushless motor allows the DCD130 to tackle demanding drilling applications. In order to improve control the Mixer/Drill has anti-rotation E-Clutch System, which offers technology capable of detecting the motion of the tool. This feature senses the motion of the tool and shuts it down if necessary. The red indicator LED illuminates when the E-Clutch System is engaged. The DEWALT DCB609Y FLEXVOLT Battery pack changes voltage when you change tools. It Powers a new line of 60-Volt MAX Brushless tools and 120-Volt MAX Brushless tools. This pack is also backwards compatible with 20-Volt MAX tools and chargers.

This thing is a BEAST. Doesn’t last very long, but when it’s on, the power it puts out feels like a plugged-in power tool. The good news about the short lifespan is that charges back up quickly. Definitely have a backup on standby, if you’re planning on doing a full day’s worth of cutting.

(See photos.)Pros:VERY heavy duty drill.Comes with a nice case that it and all accessories fit in easily.Comes with a protector for the battery when you do not have it installed on drill.Comes complete with charger, battery, chuck key, extension support.Nice slow speed start and stop to allow good mixing / drilling.It was very easy to figure out how to attach the handle, use the chuck key for extra tightening, etc.Tips:The drill itself would be very heavy to use all the time, and would not be a good choice for tight spaces. However, it is not intended for that. It is perfect for mixing or other heavy-duty applications where you want to avoid twisting your wrists…, it’s fantastic.Love this drill. I’ll be using it for life!
