Electrician drilling out a new house. Battery didn’t finish the 1st floor. Had to wait an hour to charge.. Other than that it’s a nice tool, no cord hanging up in studs, plenty of power.

Great drill with awesome power. Only con is the chuck is bad- very difficult to keep the bits tight and key doesn’t fit in the chuck very tightly.

This drill has as much power as my corded hole hawg. The battery lasts all day even when roughing in electrical for a new house. Great product

If you have to drill a big hole for PVC plumbing pipe with enough torque and power and less bind-up than normal drills (corded or not), this tool is amazing. The E-clutch bind up control is touted as possibly saving your wrist from kickback. With the RP’s of this baby, that’s a comforting thought. I used it to drill holes in exterior 2×6’s to run steel pipe through for making a climbing ladder – 3 seconds max per hole. The only downfall of this drill, in my opinion, is the keyed chuck system. Although chuck anchors can hold a bit securely, if you need to switch bits, it becomes a bit cumbersome, especially if you are on a ladder. I thought of adding a quick connect system to the drill but had not researched the strength of any to see it one could handle the torque of the drill. Milwaukee M16 has it’s own version, but again, I didn’t test for that option. The dual speeds are very powerful. Top speed on #2 setting is 1250 RPM’s which makes drilling through a double bottom plate a breeze. The con on this is that the depth of the body is parallell to the chuck and hits the surface as you break through the plates. This also depends on the shank of the bit you are using. I found that I wanted to compensate for that and slightly tilted the tool at first. The battery life is also an issue. If you are working a big job, you might need to have a system of 2/3 xtra batteries and chargers available. This drill weighs a little over 13 lbs with the battery. Not lightweight so start doing some weight training if you are going to be using it alot.

This drill is amazing. I would deff recommend it to anyone that is in the market for a hole have. I’ve used the Milwaukee super hawg cordless and corded and this one blows them out of the water. I love everything about this drill. I’m a plumber and I use this daily. One of the 60volt batteries that you use on this drill fully charged will drill out a whole house. It has plenty of power to drill those 4 1/8″ holes and will go right thru those nails. I was suprised at how well this thing really is.
