The DEWALT DCD470 60-Volt MAX In-Line Stud and Joist Drill is DEWALT’s most powerful drill on the market. It is designed to handle a wide range of large drilling applications. In addition to the integral clutch, the DEWALT anti-rotation E-Clutch System, offers technology capable of detecting the motion of the tool. So far the battery works well…my only disappointment is that I was hoping for it to run for ninety (90) minutes instead of just over 25 minutes…but I guess it depends on the device/tool its being used with. I use it with the DeWalt 60v Grass Trimmer.

This thing is a BEAST. Doesn’t last very long, but when it’s on, the power it puts out feels like a plugged-in power tool. The good news about the short lifespan is that charges back up quickly. Definitely have a backup on standby, if you’re planning on doing a full day’s worth of cutting.
