Purchased exactly 366 days ago (one day past the warranty) and no longer functions (shorted coil). We have used it pretty heavily in this year though so I would say it was fantastic until it broke (frequently drilling though aluminum, steel, and even through stainless with minimal difficulty. Only complaint I have is the fact that it broke a day after the warranty expired.
