Great, I also have an older Dewalt 18vdc hammer drill. After years It still works great but it was too big to fit in the space I needed to drill a a few holes and install a plank. The size of this is perfect. The price is almost throw away. The tool is not. I love everything about it. SMALL, light and POWERFUL. Feels good in the hand. Why 4 stars? The charger. It is a DCB107. Even the small batteries that come with this kit take 45 minutes to charge. Don’t get me wrong; I have drilled some really deep holes with this drill. I like it. It did not run out of power on the small batteries that came with it. I wish they had a list of every charger, charge rate and what comes with what kit. Many times they don’t.Overall it is a great buy.

Bought it on special 100$,liked it, I used it to mix some mortar with a 1/2 mortar mixing paddle and it worked fine, still keeps working great. Don’t use it for mixing mortar anymore (bought another drill instead), works great for drilling and screw driving.

Bought because it’s physically smaller and lighter than my other DeWalt drills. Good for around the house. The 1.3 Ah batteries are a little small for heavy duty jobs, but will work for light drilling. You will eventually need a larger battery. They will recover their money when you upgrade to a larger battery. Other wise great drill and price. $99Paul
