DCD740C120V MAX* LITHIUM ION 3/8″ RIGHT ANGLE DRILL/DRIVER KIT (1.5 AH) is a nice right angle drill for close quarters drilling. However it is under powered to use as a plumbing water pipe bit drill ( 1 1/4 inch ) I really like the drill, but I’m going to kill it drilling holes for plumbing water pipe. What I would like to see is a 1/2 chuck version of this drill, two speeds, about the same size, and more power. Might be able to use the same motor geared lower with a 1/2 chuck. I don’t think a clutch is necessary. Does Dewalt make a 20VMAX drill like this?
