Drill is great, but it’s the older model. Lots of power and torque. Issue I have found is that this was manufactured in 2016 and Home Depot seems to have a leftover stock. So you can get a drill at a lower price, however the two batteries included are from 2016, well past the useful life recommended. One that came with my drill could not hold a charge. I had to call DeWalt and then eventually had to return it to Home Depot. The replacement drill also came with 2016 batteries. DeWalt did ultimately replace with a 2020 battery, but took extra time, effort, returning, etc. So all in all the drill is good, price is good, just may have an issue with the old batteries that are included.

The DeWalt name is known for being great. The battery charges fast, maybe that’s because it doesn’t last long, maybe that’s why there are two of them. The sockets are very hard to get in and out of their slots and the screw bits slide in, not snap in. It is very nice to be able to use the drill with the sockets.

Bought online as a special purchase. Drill loosely packed with bit assortment. Drill box was open inside larger shipping box. Belt clip missing. Drill had loud clank when stopped on second speed – a safety brake according to the internet. I wonder if this was a previous return.

I recommend this drill. Drilled 1/4” anchor holes in concrete just fine, took some battery swapping to get all 8 done, so the two batteries came in very handy. Using the driver to install the anchor bolts also quite impressive. Had to take great care to grip the drill tightly, very powerful.
