Excellent drill, exactly what I needed for DYI projects around the house. Built a shed with over 400 screws. Battery lasted the whole time.

A lot lighter than my old craftsmen screw gun

After being in the farming and aviation business for over 40 years and using Dewalt products I Retired and sold my business and all their assets!I started buying tools at bargain prices and soon realized that you get what you pay for! I have been replacing all my drills, saws, drivers and blowers with Dewalt Brushless products and soon realized that smaller batteries lasted longer than non brushless products! These tools that I have accumulated now will be tools that my kids will not throw away when i’m gone!

This tool replaced by 20 year old Ni-Cad powered DeWalt drill, which still worked great but the batteries have become stupid expensive due to obsolescence. I’ve used it a few times and it is great. Light, handy, tons of torque, and the little light is awesome.

This tool kept my bathroom project going. When my other brand corded drill quit working to mix my self leveling compound, this drill got the job done

I purchased this as my new primary drill/driver for all my projects. Everything form hogging holes out of structural wood to disassembly and repair of electronics or building a workstation. It does not disappoint at all in the feel of the trigger, the usage of the clutch and most especially, the work light options. Low, medium and high with a 20 minute delay shutoff is so handy when working in dark and crammed spaces. You can set the drill down and it illuminates the project fantastically well. After a year of use, I now prefer it paired with the DCB230, 3Ah battery for the larger footprint so it is able to stand more assuredly. I generally don’t discharge the battery over the course of a day of use and it is seems to be just the right amount of power for the day.I expect I will get many more quality years out of this tool.

I have been using this drill for a couple of years now without an issues. My son bought me a Milwaukee set this past Christmas with the equivalent drill. I just finished working a a big project and used both of the to compare. The Dewalt toll was more comfortable had better battery life and drive the screws better!

Excellent purchase. Surprised at the torque it had compared to my old dewalt drill. Of course it was 12 years old. Can’t go wrong with this drill.

I had this drill along with the Impact Driver in my first tool set; and I have recently bought a new one to replace the older one I beat up. Great drill, takes a beating and keeps going (I used to do roof work and managed to drop it a couple times). Only issue I really had with the old one was that the chuck started binding and not working any more. It’s an excellent product and will handle any workload you push on it.

I had a RIPID impact drill for 10 years that worked beautifully, but the brushes were wearing out so I thought I’d upgrade to this drill. It’s amazingly light weight, very powerful and charges quickly. So fat, I’m very pleased with this product.

Using to lay down deck boards. Powerful drill, easy and comfortable to use. The batteries stay charged for several hours of work and charge quickly, not sure how quickly, but less than 2 hours.

I’ve had the Dewalt DCD791 for a year now and its the tool I use the most out of over a dozen power tools. I got with the DCF887 kit and both are very nice powerful yet light tools. Both work great with just the 2Ah battery. But the DCD791 is Dewalts best drill. Its about as light as the lesser one’s and almost as powerful in regular use as their top drill which is quite a bit heavier. It has a metal chuck and the only thing about it is you have to be sure you tighten the bits well. Get this drill if you can get it.

Good drill, lots of power, but a bit heavy with the larger AH battery.

DeWalt is the best.
