The DCD792 Cordless Compact Drill/Driver with Tool Connect is based on the latest DEWALT (R) XR (R) Brushless Drill (DCD791) with additional integrated Bluetooth and reg; technology. Connect to the Tool Connect free mobile app and Inventory Manager web-based software to track, manage and customize the tool. With Bluetooth integrated within the tool, you do not need a Tool Connect battery to utilize tracking functionality. The Tool Connect 3-part inventory management solution includes the app and Inventory Manager web-based software that work together to help you better communicate updates from the field to the office. You will get updates regarding the whereabouts of tools, materials and equipment, meaning your assets are tracked during the day and accountability is placed on appropriate crew members. Use Tool Connect tools along with Tool Connect batteries, the Connector and the Tag for a complete inventory management solution.

I have buying DeWalt tools now for the past 3 years. I have the 20v drill, driver, saw, reciprocating saw and blower. Everything I own has never failed or has any issues. I have a total of 5x 5ah batteries so I’m never without power. Heavy duty for big jobs but great for small jobs too. Over the years I have bought other brands and after 1-2 years the batteries die and or the product dies or burns out or breaks. DeWalt has exceeded my expectations time and time again. I would recommend DeWalt to anyone looking to buy their first drill or first sander. DeWalt is where it’s at.

Bought an entire line of DeWalt Tools for our shop at school. Having kids use them all day they are misused in every way imaginable. Not because they are trying to tear them up(most of them aren’t), but because they just dont know.(or lack common sense) Had a kid try to use the back of the drill as a hammer, because it was in his hand, and while he only got to hit it once, the drill held up. Some of our tools already look used, but all operate properly and we’ve got no regrets about our purchase.

Nothing beats a DeWalt, and this drill/driver is no exception. The batteries hold a charge longer than any other power tool I’ve ever had. The case that it came in was a hard case, not a soft one, which works just fine for me. Torque is adjustable, just as it is on most quality drill/drivers. We have to use lag screws a lot on our ranch, and the driver makes for a smooth drive through our hardwood uprights when we are assembling new enclosures. The cold weather didn’t negatively affect the drill at all. I’d buy a couple of more of these as needed because the quality is unsurpassed.
