I started a DIY home remodel about 1 month ago. Nothing beats a DeWalt, and this drill/driver is no exception. The batteries hold a charge longer than any other power tool I’ve ever had. The case that it came in was a hard case, not a soft one, which works just fine for me. Torque is adjustable, just as it is on most quality drill/drivers. We have to use lag screws a lot on our ranch, and the driver makes for a smooth drive through our hardwood uprights when we are assembling new enclosures. The cold weather didn’t negatively affect the drill at all. I’d buy a couple of more of these as needed because the quality is unsurpassed.
