And goes through 1/4″ and thicker steal when drilling holes. Every day he’s says something positive about the set we bought him. Send me a Rate & Review in about a year from now. I’ve had this product for three years and am completely happy with the performance. So much so, that when my son and his new wife bought their first fixer upper this year, I bought them a set as a moving in gift. The hammer drill works beautifully when drilling into concrete or hardwood. The impact drill works great fro driving in long screws.

Tools are great. Very powerful. Little Impact Driver is so awesome.Do not waste money on extended Warranty. It s a headache to deal with them and get nothing out of it. Also It only covers for one of the tool in the combo kits. DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!!!!

The brushes drill has more power than the brushed drill but the Chuck can lock closed under heavy use. I had to use a pipe wrench to remove the drill bit which damaged the Chuck. You have to disassemble the drill to replace the Chuck. The left hand screw is no longer used in the brushles drill version.

I can’t give a longevity review but have used the combo on a couple of projects. They are powerful and perform well but the battery does not seat completely on the drill. It snaps into place but there is some play and a rattle. That shouldn’t be the case for a combo at this price point.
