Very satisfied with all my 20v tools. I use this my drill almost everyday and even though it no longer looks pretty, the performance is! Never really had a dewalt tool I wasn’t satisfied with. I’m not a brand loyal type of guy but when I’m ever in doubt, or choosing between brands I’ll go with dewalt. There comes a point in time when you realize it’s not worth it to cheap out….

I usd this hammer drill / driver while running new electrical throughout my house a few weeks ago. Since I did not own it at the time, I borrowed it from my uncle, who is recently retired and had received this as part of his retirement gifts. He told me it was around $450. I was glad to find it for $245 after taxes and shipping from HD. Now I have my own to finish other jobs in and around my house. It was very impressive when using as a hammer drill to go through block and concrete, then turn it to a regular drill to get through wood. Then use it for mounting electrical boxes on the wall.

This slots perfectly under my rotary hammer. Small enough to keep in my everyday bag and not have to hassle with my corded SDS max rotary hammer for little jobs. plenty of power to push a 1/2″ masonry bit though brick, concrete, or block. the side handle is great for avoiding a hurt wrist when using bigger hole saws or mixing thin-set.

I’ve owned several brands of power tools and dewalt is by far the best one out there. My tools are my money makers and nothing even comes close to the quality and dependability of dewalt. They’ve been left out in the rain, frozen solid, fallen off roofs and out of scissor lifts, dropped in puddles of mud and in the dirt and they still come to life every time I pull the trigger. Don’t settle for anything else. Buy the best, buy dewalt

this drill is fantastic. I’ve been using it as a contractor, daily, for about 6 months. Very well constructed. I’ve dropped it off a ladder (2 stories). Just a couple scratches but works great. The drills light stays on after the drills off for a few seconds. very helpfull. The drill has tons of power, and the hammer drill works great. The drill is fairly heavy with and without a battery. (compared to other similar drills). The battery is by far the best feature. Lasts forever. Great product!
