The Tool Connect 3-part inventory management solution includes the app and Inventory Manager web-based software that work together to help you better communicate updates from the field to the office. You will get updates regarding the whereabouts of tools, materials and equipment, meaning your assets are tracked during the day and accountability is placed on appropriate crew members. Use Tool Connect tools along with Tool Connect batteries, Connector and Tag for a complete inventory management solution.

I loved this drill it lasted about 5 months of mon to fri work drilling aluminum 1/4 pilot hold the jump up to a 5/8 then one day middle of drilling a pilot hole beginning of shift just stops working wouldn’t connect to one key acted like it wasn’t getting power but until stopped working BEST SPEED, MOST POWER, ALL AROUND #1 ABOVE ALL CORDLESS HAMMER DRILLS

As anyone does in construction work I have worked around or with most brands of power tools and I have learned that DeWalt is the brand that I can count on to get the job done. I don’t think you can find a better brushless drill. I haven’t really tinkered with the profiles to change settings but that isn’t what sold me on the upgrade to the Tool Connect version. I like that I not only have a consistent experience and level of torque that I need until the battery needs a charge, I can also track the battery health via the Tool Connect app. I’m excited to see over time how using the Tool Connect app will help me reduce downtime by having the data to know when a battery has past its prime and is causing more downtime hustling batteries back and forth instead of working. I’d definitely recommend this drill for tradesman that need to track your tools and don’t have time for “down time”.

I got this because it was an amazing price at the time. My other dewalt drill is still working strong even though it is pretty old. This thing has some insane power. Just about sprained a wrist using a 1” spade bit that snagged a nail. I love this tool. One down side is that even on the lowest clutch setting it will still strip out soft woods on smaller screws. I use my old drill to tackle the delicate work and it’s a perfect combo.

I bought this under a year ago. The drill worked well until about 2 weeks ago. I was cutting a 4″ hole when it stopped working. I sent it in and picked it up 2 weeks later. While trying to drill the same hole it broke instantly again.

Nice complete kit – includes everything you need, hammer drill, charger, 2 batteries and hard case. Three speeds for drilling with the switch on top to easily set it. The light on the drill is awesome – very bright. It too has a switch to set time and intensity. Did a number of tests drilling 3/16″ & 11/16″ holes in bricks and 1″ thick slab of limestone. The drill handled those tasks with no problem. I look forward to using it many times. As a homeowner / DIY guy, I do not have a use for the Bluetooth feature. Also the reviews of the Bluetooth app were mixed at best, so I chose not to install it on my phone.
