Great machines. The impact driver hits hard. It can be overkill for smaller jobs but smaller jobs don’t necessarily require an impact. The driver does have a “precision mode” which will pause the hammer mech unless the trigger remains depressed it then slowly hammers the drive.The drill is compact vs a standard corded drill. Has almost all the power of my corded Milwaukee. Drilled 2in using a hole saw thru pressure treated 1in shelving with no problems.

Have owned for a few weeks. No issues. Much improved over the 19.5v options from years ago, which definitely served their purpose, but have been aged-out of the market. Pleny of room in the bag for two or three bit sets, too. Lightweight, but sturdy. Very pleased. Just make sure you press the batteries into the charger until you hear the “clunk” or “click” to make sure they are seated firmly into the charger. They don’t just slide right in; you’ve got to press a bit hard to make sure they are secure.
