Drill and Impact Driver met all of my expectations and then some.Impact’s three settings are esp useful. The lowest setting is very helpful for driving small cabinet screws w/o stripping.Drill’s #1 lowest setting is great with a very slow starter speed.

Awesome power in a small package; I just used the combo to replace 500 sq ft of decking. Over the last 20 years I’ve had many hours of reliable service from my 12V and 18V NiCad DeWalt drills. Lion batteries rock, and the addition of a separate driver tool (with quick release and 3 torque levels) eliminates the need to swap drill and driver bits, really speeding up operations and not tempting you to skip a pilot hole ! The lights are an awesome addition, with the drill having 3 levels of brightness and can be used as a worklight so you can keep you $600 flashlight (cell phone) in you pocket. Finally, it is assembled in the USA, albeit of global components.
