The DCE151B 20-Volt MAX XR Cable Stripper enables THHN and XHHW cable to be quickly stripped up to 4, without the need of a knife. Using the appropriate bushing the cable stripper works on both copper and aluminum cable, covering a range in size from 6 AWG to 750MCM CU and 900MCM AL. To help determine which bushing is right for the job DEWALT has a reference chart that is included in the manual as well as online. When selecting a bushing it is recommend that bushing size above and below the recommended bushing also be selected as there can be variance in a specific brand of cable.

I find it works best when held with two hands, just alittle recoil leaves the staples loose. Makes roughing a house noticeibly quicker, but you do use more staples. Just wish you could adjust how tight it drives staple. Battery lasts for ever

We have been looking at this staples gun for a year now and it is just out. We are mostly a repair electrical service but we still have to staple wire. Sometimes when in a crawl space it is too low to kneel and too high to sit up. this is a belly saver. It does let the wire slide so it is not binding at all. Not sure yet how I like that. My journeyman is salivating to use it.

Works quite well.. Battery life is good for days on average use. Quality of construction is very good, and the staples are reasonably priced. Staples driven into old dried out framing leaves the cables a little loose, but other than that it’s a great product and time saver..

Stop considering this device and BUY THIS DEVICE!!!! My only regret is I didn’t buy this sooner. I literally kissed this thing after I used it the first time. I had a hand-powered version of this for far too long. This saves time and makes the job INCREDIBLY FAST AND EASY!!! It’s worth every penny… and then some. Dewalt Cable stapler is one of the best for Romax cables and it is quality built feels sturdy and does the job in a variety of wood types today i took out old rusty stables and used the DeWALT stapler to re secure the wires and not only but for the past 2 months this dewalt Romax stapler is one good tool to have for securing Romax wire to wood. the kit comes as a Ready to use kit stapler, staples ,battery and charger and clear instructions and soft case

The Dewalt DCN701 Cordless Cable Stapler is built for residential wiring applications. It is used of fastening Romex brand wires and cables. The cable stapler is twice as fast as manual hammer stapling. It has a proprietary cable guide for aligning the staple over cable meaning that it help preventing putting a staple into the cable or Romex wires. It has a center -mount LED helps to provide light to see the area you are trying to staple. It is compatible with the Dewalt DRS1800 1” insulated cable staples. IT comes with DCN701 Cordless cable stapler, one 20V Max DCB203 battery, charger, belt clip and kit bag. It does not come with any staple so you will have to purchase them separately. It comes with a 3-year limited warranty on the tool and the battery. It very simple to use and fast. Love it. Just a note: There were some complains about not having the staples in stock, they do have them now.

I can say, all the other reviews seem to be dead on. Good tool, does its job. However, like the reviews stated, it doesn’t drive the staple in well on older framing. With that said, It is easy to use (way better then hand hammering each staple). This is my sons X-mas present (I am using it for my shop build first LOL). Worth getting if you have a big project as I did and if you’re doing allot of electric runs in non-commercial environments. Battery life is exceptionable, I charged it once and ran well over 5oo ft of various cables, from 12/2 to 6/3 and had no issues except one miss fire and that was my fault I think. I went through 2 boxes of staples and couldn’t be happier
