The DCE200 Cordless Press Tool uses an electric motor to power a hydraulic piston pump. The pumping action forces a ram forward that forces closed a jaw set or attachment. The attachment mechanically presses fittings onto various types of tubing to create a tight and permanent seal. Not always a perfect chop . . Still is a great improvement from using band saw or sawzall in my opinion.

Awesome tool. I’ve cut a few hundred lives of threaded rod the past 2 weeks with this and have only had a small handful of cuts that had burs. Definetly recommend this…

Great for compact areas where getting in a larger auger is both messy and difficult. I was able to put in about 30 feet of a 1/2″ X 50′ snake in the drum and run the rest of it out by using the handy chuck designed to grip and turn either clockwise or counterclockwise because I needed a little more length. Very handy and makes running a hand auger so much easier.

Really easy to use and fits in a lot of tight areas and have no cord to hang you up on

Pretty awesome. A lot of power. It is bulky and pretty heavy

Works well and the light has already come in handy. The factory cable (5/16″) is bulb only and not what I needed. Bought the Ridgid 3/8″ x 35′ cable so I could use a grease cutter tool on it and works perfectly in the DeWalt drain snake. I asked the factory “Experts” if the cable would work with it and all I got back was, “Gee Wally, we haven’t tested it with Ridgid’s cable”. (It works fine) I would think if they don’t offer options needed they’d at least test other manufacturers offerings to let you know but I’m starting to rant.Bottom line is it’s a pretty handy tool with plenty of power and control. After a few uses now the cable lock is a little flaky but usable if needed. A little heavy but hey, there’s 35′ of cable jammed in there now! Beats the daylights out of the old hand crank snakes. Much faster!
